O objetivo do estudo foi avaliar o efeito de diferentes doses de biochar, proveniente da palha de café conilon, associado com a aplicação da água residuária de suinocultura, no desenvolvimento de plantas de café conilon. O experimento foi conduzido em casa de vegetação localizada no Instituto Federal do Espirito Santo (Ifes) - Campus de Alegre, ES. O delineamento utilizado foi o inteiramente casualizado, num fatorial 5x2, com três repetições. Os tratamentos consistiram da combinação de cinco doses de biochar de palha de café conilon, equivalentes a 0, 5, 10, 15 e 20 t/ha, com duas águas de irrigação (água residuária de suinocultura-ARS e água bruta-AB). Para a obtenção do biochar, a palha do café foi acondicionada em um reator de pirólise e carbonizado a 350º C. A ARS foi coletada no setor de suinocultura do Ifes-Campus de Alegre. A AB foi originária da água de abastecimento do Campus, sem tratamento. O solo utilizado foi um Latossolo vermelho-amarelo, coletado na profundidade 0-40 cm. O experimento foi conduzido por 150 dias, quando avaliou-se o parâmetros morfoagronômicos de crescimento e desenvolvimento do cafeeiro. A aplicação da dose correspondente a 15 t/ha de biochar e a irrigação com ARS promoveram os melhores resultados no desenvolvimento do cafeeiro conilon. Entre os parâmetros morfoagronômicos avaliados a ARS promoveu maior altura de planta, diâmetro do caule, número de ramos plagiotrópicos, número de nós, matéria fresca da parte aérea, matéria seca da parte aérea e total. As doses de biochar não influenciaram, até os 150 dias de avaliação, o desenvolvimento do café conilon.
