O ciclismo urbano é um fenômeno recente valorizado como alternativa ao transporte motorizado individual. O objetivo do artigo é compreender os processos educativos do ciclismo urbano, decorrentes da prática social do cicloativismo atuante na cidade de São Paulo. Realizamos quatro entrevistas com pessoas que habitam e se locomovem de bicicleta neste município. A trajetória metodológica seguiu a modalidade fenômeno situado da Fenomenologia. Na construção dos resultados, as unidades de significado: a) luta por reconhecimento no direito de fruir o território em bicicleta; b) solidariedade com outrem no compartilhamento seguro das vias públicas; c) percepção do entorno e d) comunicação do movimento cicloativista resultaram na categoria “Pedalar como direito humano à mobilidade ativa na cidade”. Constatamos que, apesar do processo legítimo de diálogo, as demandas cicloativistas são pouco incorporadas às políticas públicas de mobilidade urbana por falta de representação institucional.
El objetivo de esa investigación es comprender los procesos educativos vivenciados en la práctica social mecánica de bicicleta. Fue empleado el abordaje fenomenológico epistémico 4E Cognition de los procesos cognitivos encarnados, situados, extendidos y enactivos. Para los procedimientos metodológicos, entrevistamos seis mecánicos de bicicleta latinoamericanos teniendo como criterios de inclusión el trabajo formal o informal con mecánica de bicicleta, la experiencia con ciclismo utilitario, deportivo o recreativo y acciones político-pedagógicas cicloactivistas. En el análisis discursivo, emergieran las unidades de significado: a) Enseñanza-aprendizaje laboral; b) Influencia tecnológica en el ciclismo; c) Salud y cuidado al pedalear que sustentan la categoría general “Mecánica de bicicleta como proceso cognitivo-educativo”. Consideramos la práctica social mecánica de bicicleta fundamental para el fenómeno bicicultura con efectos directos a la realidad ciudadana con la promoción de procesos educativos para la movilidad urbana. Abstract: The objective of this research is to understand educational processes experienced in the social mechanical practice of bicycle. The 4E Cognition phenomenological epistemic approach, which focuses on embodied, situated, extended, and enactive cognitive processes. As a methodological procedure, six Latin-Americans bicycle mechanics were interviewed. Inclusion/exclusion criteria were as follows: previous formal or informal work in bicycle mechanics, experience with utilitarian, sport, or recreational cycling, and cycloactivist political-pedagogical actions. In the analysis of the discourse, the following units of meaning emerged: a) Work teaching-learning; b) Technological influences on cycling; c) Health and care when pedaling; these units form the general category "Bicycle mechanics as a cognitive-educational process". We consider social mechanical bicycle practice as a fundamental bicycle culture phenomenon having direct effects on citizen's life as it promotes educational processes for urban mobility.
The objective this article is comprehend educational processes experienced in the social practice bicycling agroecological. Phenomenological qualitative approach 4E Cognition of embodied, situated, extended and enactive cognitive processes since existential description "Pedaling for Cityzenship". For data collection, we performed two bicycling trips in the years 2017 and 2018, pedaling 4200 kilometers each trajectory with the objective interviewing nine farmers in the five Brazilian states from inclusion criteria: 1) agroecological farmer; 2) working with agroforestry systems and c) development community education projects for citizenship. For speeches analysis, the approach "situated phenomenon" being constituted ideographic analysis organized in a framework discursive convergences for nomotetic matrix. The units of meaning emerged: a) Agroforestry knowledge; b) Care for environmental health; c) Agroecological community training support general category "Bicycling agroecological as a cognitive-educational process". We believe promotion bicycling culture through social practice bicycling agroecological, should be as a driving alternative for human motricity development between urban cyclists and family farmers producing organic food consciously preserve biodiversity, generating benefits for collective health environment.
O objetivo do estudo foi compreender o fenômeno ciclismo urbano como sentido político em perspectiva de experiências laborais na promoção da bicicultura em São Paulo, Brasil. Optamos pela abordagem fenomenológico-hermenêutica a partir dos geradores de sentido vínculo, abrigo, fixação, reiteração e apoio na análise dos discursos de cinco sujeitos que trabalham com mecânica de bicicleta, gerente de agência “bike courier”, organizador de eventos desportivos com mountain bike, administrador de empresa bike shop e gestora pública de infraestrutura cicloviária. Na construção dos resultados, emergiram as unidades de significado: a) valores sociais na atividade profissional com bicicleta b) saúde ambiental no compartilhamento viário c) educação e política pública para a sustentabilidade. Constatamos que, a categoria “ciclismo urbano como construção cultural” representa o sentido semântico, existencial e metafísico da manifestação política da bicicultura em direção a cidadania ativa pelo direito humano à mobilidade por bicicleta em São Paulo.
ResumenEl objetivo de esta investigación fue comprender los procesos educativos vivenciados por cicloactivistas en la promoción del ciclismo urbano. Para la metodología, se utilizó el abordaje fenomenológico 4 Ecological Cognition comprendidos como procesos cognitivos encarnados, situados, extendidos y enactivos con el ambiente social-natural. Fueron realizadas entrevistas semiestructuradas con siete personas de Brasil, Colombia y Uruguay teniendo como criterios de inclusión, ser cicloactivista militante y desarrollar proyectos temáticos con cicloturismo, espacios de convivencia y género donde emergieran las unidades de significado: a) cicloturismo como praxis de liberación; b) Promoción del bicicultura; c) ser mujer ciclista urbana resultando en la categoría “La práctica cicloactivista”.Palabras clave: Ciclismo Urbano.
