The integration of professional physical education in multidisciplinary teams of family health strategy ABSTRACTThe present study aimed to reflect on the importance of multidisciplinary teams in the Family Health Strategy, focusing on the importance of physical education professional. The methodology consisted of literature searches, based on the Ministerial Decree 154 of January 2008 that created the Centers of Support for Family Health (CSFH) and guidelines. The location of the data sources occurred in conventional library systems and web search, as LILACS and SciELO, in the period April-June 2013. The following key words were used: family health, physical education, health promotion; prevention of diseases. The results point to the importance of the role of physical education professional in Centers of Support for Family Health is recognized, however, it is necessary to consolidate their involvement in multidisciplinary teams, as it plays a key role in disease prevention and health promotion.
The present study aimed to describe the knowledge of nurses who work in an Adult Intensive Care Unit about the control of nosocomial infection. Descriptive field research with a qualitative approach. Seven nurses were interviewed, using the semi-structured interview technique, the data analysis was based on Minayo's operative proposal. All ethical considerations were respected in accordance with Resolution No. 466/2012 (Brasil, 2012), with the approval of the ULBRA Ethics Committee contained in Opinion No. 3.239.370. The results found were: nurses recognize the importance of hospital infection control, as well as the risk factors for hospitalized patients, in the context of the Adult Intensive Care Unit. Regarding the development of skills and practices to reduce infection rates, the active role of the Hospital Infection Service within the unit is highlighted, in addition to preventive measures and care, such as the correct washing of hands, the use of protective equipment individual care and care with contact isolation. However, it is difficult to guarantee the engagement of all health professionals who work in the unit to raise awareness of the adoption of such practices. The adoption of measures aimed at controlling nosocomial infection is prioritized in nurses' daily practices. Continuing education elucidates several aspects of infection control that are not restricted to the hospital environment. Thus, preventive actions start even before hospitalization and can prevent unnecessary hospitalizations.
Objetivo: analisar as especificidades positivas de profissionais de enfermagem acerca da cultura de segurança do paciente em unidades de urgência/emergência. Método: pesquisa de abordagem quantitativa, de delineamento transversal, realizada em sete municípios integrantes da 13ª Coordenadoria Regional de Saúde do Rio Grande do Sul, em suas respectivas unidades hospitalares com atendimento de urgência/emergência. A amostra foi composta por 112 profissionais de enfermagem e, como instrumento de coleta de dados, foi utilizado o questionário Hospital Survey on Patient Safety Culture (HSOPSC), na versão traduzida para a língua portuguesa. Resultados: os resultados revelaram as dimensões “expectativas sobre o seu supervisor/chefe e ações promotoras de segurança do paciente” (78,5%) e “trabalho em equipe dentro das unidades” (76,5%) como as principais em receber respostas positivas. Conclusão: o estudo revela que as unidades de urgência/emergência possuem áreas fortes para o desenvolvimento de uma assistência qualificada e segura.
Relatar a experiência docente de utilização do Projeto Terapêutico Singular em ambiente hospitalar durante o estágio supervisionado do 10º semestre do Curso de Bacharel em Enfermagem. Trata-se de um relato de experiência de docentes de uma Universidade do interior do Rio Grande do Sul a partir da vivência prática da utilização do PTS em cenário hospitalar. A solicitação para realização do PTS ocorreu na disciplina de Assistência de Enfermagem ao Adulto e Idoso Hospitalizado, do Curso de Graduação em Enfermagem. O PTS possibilitou que o discente conseguisse organizar melhor suas ideias e proposições de cuidado alicerçado em evidências científicas, culminando em maior associação teórica e prática. O PTS é uma tecnologia capaz de auxiliar na interpretação do processo saúde-doença, fortalece a autonomia e preparo do acadêmico para realizar discussões de casos e proposições de soluções de problemáticas pertinentes à prática assistencial, fortalecendo seu pensamento crítico-reflexivo no cuidado de enfermagem.Descritores: Educação Superior, Enfermagem, Estágio Clínico. Singular therapeutic project during internship in hospital environment: teaching reportAbstract: To report the teaching experience of using the Singular Therapeutic Project in a hospital environment during the supervised internship of the 10th semester of the Bachelor of Nursing Course. It is an account of the experience of professors at a University in the interior of Rio Grande do Sul from the practical experience of using PTS in a hospital setting. The request to perform the PTS occurred in the discipline of Nursing Assistance to Adult and Hospitalized Elderly, from the Nursing Undergraduate Course. The PTS enabled the student to better organize his ideas and care propositions based on scientific evidence, culminating in a greater theoretical and practical association. The PTS is a technology capable of assisting in the interpretation of the health-disease process, it strengthens the academic autonomy and preparation to carry out case discussions and propositions of solutions to problems relevant to the care practice, strengthening their critical-reflective thinking in nursing care.Descriptors: Education, Higher, Nursing, Clinical Clerkship. La solicitud para realizar el PTS se dio en la disciplina de Asistencia de Enfermería al Adulto y Anciano Hospitalizado, de la Licenciatura en Enfermería. El PTS permitió al alumno organizar mejor sus ideas y propuestas de cuidado basadas en la evidencia científica, culminando en una mayor asociación teórica y práctica.
