This research aims to produce Virtual Laboratory as interactive multimedia on sub material the isolation of bacteria, knowing about adisability of Virtual Laboratory, and measure the comprehension of the student PGMIPAU Education Biology FKIP Untan concept whom get be taught with Virtual Laboratory. The research method that used is a Development Research. This method includes four stages that is the analysis and design stage for produce Virtual Laboratory prototype. The next stage is evaluation and revision until the Virtual Laboratory was proper to use. Implementation of media have done at small group (the student PGMIPAU Education Biology). Be based on result of validation by validator of media and matter, Virtual Laboratory get catagorized as valid with the average of the validation is 3,18. Be based on result of student learnig outcomes obtained average 75,55 with the percentage of completness is 88,88%.
This study aims to find out the feasibility of flash flipbook media based on the results of macroscopic fungi inventory found in the Mount Pemangkat Protected Forest, Sambas Regency. The form of research used is quantitative descriptive methods. The creation of flash flipbook media is enriched with the richness of local fungi found in the Protected Forest of Mount Pemangkat, Sambas Regency. Flash flipbook media is validated by five validators, including two lecturers of Biology Education Tanjungpura University and three high school teachers who were determined using purposive sampling techniques. Flipbook flash media validation sheets are assessed using the Likert scale and data analysis based on the Lawshe Formula (1975). Validation of flash flipbook media obtained a CVI (Content Validity Index) value of 0.94, so it is declared feasible and can then be used as a learning medium in the fungi classification sub-material and provide additional information about the diversity of mushrooms in the surrounding environment for students of class X high school.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada sub materi pencemaran lingkungan yang dilihat dari hasil postest siswa pada kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan bentuk penelitian quasi eksperimental design dan menggunakan rancangan percobaan control group pre-test and post-test design. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 4 Pontianak tahun ajaran 2009/2010. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Purposive sampling, sehingga diperoleh sampel penelitian yakni kelas XB sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XF sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes berbentuk essai yang berjumlah lima soal. Dari hasil analisis data, diperoleh rata-rata skor hasil belajar siswa dengan model CIRC sebesar 11,61 lebih tinggi dibanding dengan model pembelajaran konvensional yaitu sebesar 10,89. Berdasarkan hasil uji U-mann Whitney diketahui bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa di kelas eksperimen dan kontrol yaitu Z tabel ? - Zhitung atau 1,96 ? -2,20. Berdasarkan perhitungan Effect size model pembelajaran CIRC diperoleh nilai sebesar 0,44 dengan kategori sedang. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran CIRC secara efektif dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Kata kunci : Efektivitas, Model CIRC, Hasil belajar, Pencemaran lingkungan.
