Das Keton (I) reagiert mit den β‐Aminoalkoholen (II) unter Bildung der Oxazolopyrimidinthione (III) und setzt sich mit o‐Amino‐benzylalkohol bzw. o‐Hydroxy‐benzylamin zu den Pyrimidobenzoxazinthionen (IV) bzw. (Va) und mit o‐Amino‐phenol zu dem Thion (VI) um.
Das Isothiocyanatoketon (I) reagiert mit (,v‐Aminosäuren zu Pyrimidooxazolonen, z.B. mit Glycin zu (II) [neben dem sein Hydrolyseprodukt (III) entsteht] und mit β‐Aminosäuren zu Pyrimidooxazin0nen, so z.B. mit Anthranilsäure (IV) zu (V), das beim Erhitzen in DMF unter Umlagerung in die Aminodihydropyridinthione (VIa) und (VIb) gespalten wird.
