Abstractwhich shows that the unknown coumarin glycoside, compound C, is daphTwo coumarin glycosides ~reviously nin (Ia) and to provide further spectroisolated from Daphne acuminata ROYLE scopic evidence to support daphnetin-8-have been Aown to be d a~h n i n and p-glucoside (Ib) as the constitution of daphnetin-8-0-glucoside. The value of compound B. lSC-NMR spcectroscopy for the identification of coumarin glycosides is demonstrated. Its use in characterising the Experimental glycosidic moiety and confirming the 7, 8-coumarin substitution pattern of daphnetin-8-0-glucoside, a previously reported constituen; of D. acuminata, is shown.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
