The stacked structure of an aperture-coupled cylindrical ( ) dielectric resonator DR antenna is studied experimentally. The effects of the offset and the air gap between the dri¨en and parasitic DR elements are in¨estigated. It is found that the bandwidth of the stacked structure can increase from the single-element¨alue of 9% to 37%. Thë oltage standing-wa¨e ratio, the radiation patterns, and the antenna gain are also reported.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
