Zusammenfassung Zielsetzung: Kostenanalyse f?r die station?re, ambulante und medikament?se Behandlung, die einer gesetzlichen Krankenversicherung durchschnittlich pro Versichertem mit akutem Koronarsyndrom (ACS) entstehen. Vergleich der Kosten f?r Versicherte mit und ohne weiteres kardiovaskul?res Ereignis. Methodik: In dieser retrospektiven Analyse mit Routinedaten einer gesetzlichen Krankenkasse wurden f?r ACS-Patienten Behandlungskosten insgesamt sowie ACS-bezogene Kosten ermittelt. Versicherte mit station?rer Entlassungsdiagnose ACS vom 1.1.2007???31.12.2008 wurden in die Analyse einbezogen und nach Patienten mit und ohne weiteres kardiovaskul?res Ereignis differenziert. Ergebnisse: Von 27?934 Versicherten mit ACS erlitten 2922 (10,5?%) im ersten Jahr nach dem ersten ACS-Ereignis ein weiteres kardiovaskul?res Ereignis. Bei ACS-Patienten mit weiterem Ereignis waren die Behandlungskosten im ersten Jahr nach dem ersten ACS-Ereignis mit insgesamt 17?809?? rund 1,57-fach h?her, die ACS-bezogenen Kosten (10?053??) sogar fast doppelt so hoch, im Vergleich zu Versicherten ohne weiteres Ereignis (11?318?? bzw. 5058??). Schlussfolgerung: Routinedaten zeigen f?r ACS-Patienten mit weiterem kardiovaskul?ren Ereignis deutlich h?here Versorgungskosten im Vergleich zu ACS-Patienten ohne Re-Ereignis. Erfolgreiche Sekund?rpr?vention k?nnte daher ?ber den patientenrelevanten Nutzen hinaus zu einer erheblichen Kosteneinsparung f?hren.
