This research was aimed to investigate the effect of Co and Co-Mo metal loaded on Sarulla Natural Zeolite which has been activated and calcined (SNZ-Cal) as supports for better understanding of characterization and catalytic activity on hydrocracking of MEFA rubber seed oil. The Co and Co-Mo metal was added through a wet impregnation method using Co(NO3)2·6H2O and (NH4)·6Mo7O24·4H2O precursor salts. The catalyst was oxidized at 500 °C for 2 h within oxygen gas flow, followed by a reduction process with H2 gas flow with similar condition to obtain the catalysts. Based on the result, it was found that the resulted catalysts displayed an increase in crystal grain size compared to the metal-free catalyst. Particularly, catalyst that was impregnated with Co metal has a larger surface area and pore diameter and smaller pore volume than Co-Mo metal impregnated to the catalyst. In fact, it was revealed that this catalyst possessed the highest catalytic activity and selectivity. Furthermore, the resulting gas products reached 64 wt.% and the distribution of biogasoline fraction of hydrocarbons (C6-C12) amounted to 83.19 wt.%.
: Development of Student Worksheets (LKPD) Based on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, And Mathematics) on Reaction Rate Material. This study aims to determine the level of validity, practicality, and student responses to STEM-based student worksheets on the reaction rate material. This development research uses a 4-D development model consisting of 4 stages, namely, 1) Definition, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Dissemination. The subjects in this study were 2 material expert validators, 2 media expert validators, 2 chemistry teachers, and 25 students of class XI IPA 1, totaling 25 students. The data collection instruments were in the form of interview guidelines, LKPD validation sheets by validators, practicality questionnaire sheets by teachers, and student response questionnaire sheets using data analysis techniques using quantitative and qualitative data. Based on the results of the study, the average assessment by material experts was 78.5% in the appropriate category, the assessment by media experts was 91% in the very appropriate category, the average practicality level assessment by the teacher was 97.7% in the very practical category, and the results of student responses, namely 98.8% of students who gave "yes" answers and 1.2% of students who gave "no" answers so that the LKPD developed was in the good category. Keywords : LKPD, STEM, Reaction Rate, 4-D Model Abstrak : Pengembangan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) Berbasis STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, And Mathematics) Pada Materi Laju Reaksi.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
