Partant du constat, essentiellement événementiel et statistique, par lequel la violence envers les surveillants de prison est traitée, les auteurs, guidés par une pratique de psychologue auprès de ce personnel, cherchent à élargir le champ en question. La violence, comme composante de l’environnement carcéral, se fait ainsi entendre dans les discours des agents à partir d’éléments symboliques touchant à l’identité professionnelle, à la reconnaissance, aux assises narcissiques et représentationnelles, etc. Ses effets ne sont pas sans conséquences sur les pratiques professionnelles (malaise au travail, discours de souffrance, sentiment de solitude...). En ce sens, cet article vise à interroger l’expression de la violence en prison dans les dynamiques de liens humains et les référents collectifs institutionnels, en soutenant une perspective clinique impliquée du côté des personnels de surveillance.
L’auteur propose de revenir sur le dernier article de Mélanie Klein, publié de manière posthume, ayant pour objet le sentiment de solitude. Klein nous livre ici une version de la solitude qui, dans la lignée d’une conception tragique de l’humain, rappelle la douleur d’une intégration imparfaite et de l’incommunicabilité fondamentale qui affecte l’être parlant. Alors que l’actualité semble dévoyer la question de la solitude en la rabattant sur de pures contingences matérielles et communicationnelles, le retour à Klein pourrait bien nous aider à réinscrire sa problématisation psychique et relationnelle dont les conséquences se situent directement au niveau des pratiques.
Résumé Les auteurs visent, à partir de discours de souffrance d’où émerge une problématique de solitude , à rapatrier cette notion du côté du référentiel métapsychologique afin de l’élever à la dignité de concept et se défaire de toute vision purement phénoménologique ou interactionniste. La conceptualisation de la solitude passe alors par la référence freudienne à l’ Hilflosigkeit , détresse psychique et discontinuité ontologique ouvrant à la dimension d’un lien autre que fusionnel, c’est-à-dire, un lien que nous qualifierions de langagier avec J. Lacan. D. W. Winnicott propose lui une « capacité d’être seul », solitude qui se supporte de l’installation psychique de l’autre. Elle se trouve liée à l’espace potentiel où se manifeste le mode de vie créatif de l’individu. Cette épistémologie est alors le prétexte pour interroger notre pratique et les enjeux transférentiels de la rencontre clinique. Celle-ci ne s’affirme-t-elle pas justement comme cet espace dynamique et créatif de l’être seul en présence de l’Autre ? Cette perspective devrait nous permettre d’interroger plus largement les ressorts du lien social dont la clinique de l’adolescence est une figure emblématique.
C’est à l’instar d’une méthode qui se voudrait de mettre la culture à l’épreuve du langage que l’auteur propose de rencontrer L’enfant de sable , écrit étrange de Ben Jelloun qui s’inspirant d’un fait divers nous raconte le destin d’Ahmed, née fille mais élevée par son père comme un garçon. Au sein du Maroc traditionnel où la virilité est mythifiée, alors que le monde des femmes lui est d’ombre, Ahmed parcourt le chemin de son identité. L’enfant de sable est alors une fable qui dépassant les frontières engage la voie de la structuration par la différence des sexes et la figure d’altérité du féminin dans le social.
