concurrent use of statin and antiviral therapy was associated with a better disease-free survival (p=0.022) compared to antiviral therapy alone. Conclusion: Statin use is associated with better diseasefree survival in patients with HBV-related HCC after curative treatment. Additive HCC chemopreventive effect was seen with the concomitant use of antiviral and statin. Further prospective studies are warranted to investigate the potential use of statin in antiviral therapy users.
