IntroduçãoNas últimas décadas do século passado, momento em que a educação escolar é acionada pelos povos indígenas, na relação com o Estado brasileiro, e em que se normatizam e se instituem princípios e características do que deva ser a educação escolar em contexto indígena (nos seus sentidos específico, diferenciado e intercultural), emergem questões que se colocam às escolas indígenas, que atravessam o campo do currículo, a formação de professor, as políticas de financiamento da educação, a concepção de conhecimento próprio a cada povo indígena e, consequentemente, o que pode e deve ser ensinado no espaço escolar. Nesse sentido, os discursos em torno da escola são os mais variados e partem de distintos lugares e de diferentes áreas do conhecimento, a exemplo da Pedagogia, da História e da Antropologia que buscam analisar os impactos da instituição escolar em contextos indígenas.Todavia, os impactos da "instituição escolar em meio indígena" (GRUPIONI, 2013), em muitos dos casos, são tratados com desconfiança ou quase sempre numa perspectiva ne-
Nessa pesquisa tivemos por objetivo analisar como as crianças agem, acionam e vivenciam as noções de racismo e discriminação racial em suas relações com outras crianças e adultos; compreender o que significa, para as crianças, pertencer a uma categoria racial (branco e não branco) e como elas lidam com essas categorias. A pesquisa, de caráter qualitativo, foi realizada entre abril e julho de 2017 e teve como colaboradores 35 crianças de uma escola de Ensino Fundamental localizada no município de Itapetinga-BA. Utilizamo-nos de autores como Abramowicz e Oliveira (2012), Abramowicz (2015), Oliveira (2004), Fazzi (2006), Cavalleiro (1998, 2014), Santiago (2014), Trinidad (2011, 2012), dentre outros. O estudo destaca que as crianças negras tendem a negar o seu pertencimento étnico-racial, recusam a sua cor da pele, estabelecem classificações e fazem leituras das desigualdades sócio-raciais. Contudo, esse processo de “captura” não ocorre de forma total, na medida em que as crianças reagem a ele: através das brigas, calando-se, “inventando” novos corpos (pintando o cabelo, alisando-o, etc.), mas sempre resistindo.
Este trabalho teve por objetivo analisar a produção científica do Grupo de Trabalho sobre “Educação e Relações Étnico-raciais” da Associação Nacional de Pós-Graduação e Pesquisa em Educação - ANPED, entre os anos de 2003 a 2013, especialmente a produção voltada para educação das relações étnico-raciais no contexto da Educação Infantil e nos primeiros anos do Ensino Fundamental. Utilizamo-nos dos aportes teóricos de Abramowicz e Oliveira (2006, 2012), Fazzi (2006), Cavalleiro (2001, 2014), dentre outros. A pesquisa, do tipo estado da arte, é de caráter bibliográfico/documental. Nas pesquisas aqui analisadas, vimos que a produção acadêmica do GT 21 da ANPED ainda continua pouco expressiva no que diz respeito a pesquisa com crianças e relações étnico-raciais, diante do total de pesquisas que têm sido apresentadas e divulgadas no referido GT. Vimos que dos 161 trabalhos publicados no GT 21, entre 2003 e 2013, somente 14 trabalhos fazem referência às relações raciais entre crianças da educação infantil e primeiros anos do ensino fundamental. Todavia, esses trabalhos não privilegiam o ponto de vista das crianças em torno das relações étnico-raciais.
Todas as dimensões do ensino de geografia contribuem para a construção de referenciais de leitura do mundo, conferem poder a indivíduos e grupos em suas interações e relações, do mesmo modo que os posiciona, tanto do ponto de vista geográfico quanto social. A Geografia tem, portanto, na perspectiva de Santos (2009), relação direta com a constituição da ideia de raça e com a instauração de formas de relações raciais. Neste artigo tem-se como objetivo identificar como as dimensões das colonialidades, ou seja, a colonialidade o poder, do saber e do ser se reproduzem do ensino de Geografia na interface com as relações étnico-raciais e, ao mesmo tempo, analisar como as epistemes decoloniais e a perspectiva de educação antirracista, em conformidade com a lei 10.639/2003, interpelam os processos de racialização e produção do conhecimento acerca das relações étnico-raciais no ensino de Geografia.
Nesse artigo, mesmo diante dos limites que se impõem, posto que não é possível apresentar a densidade dos dados produzidos durante a pesquisa do doutorado a partir da etnografia que realizamos sobre a escola dos Tupinambá de Olivença, entre abril de 2011 e maio de 2012, interessa-nos lançar pistas acerca dos modos e formas como este povo têm produzido suas escolas e do como, neste processo, são atualizadas relações de parentesco, sentidos para a cultura e o estar na cultura e do como, no limite, a escola atua em defesa do território, no fortalecimento das áreas de retomadas e na luta por sua demarcação.
