El talento humano que exige el mundo moderno requiere visión y capacidad de interacción con su entorno y con la sociedad global. El modelo pedagógico del Instituto Tecnológico Metropolitano (ITM) propone formar ciudadanos para la sociedad contemporánea, no simplemente respondiendo a las demandas del sector productivo o a políticas de carácter estatal, sino formando talentos con diferentes niveles de conocimientos en CT+i (Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación), pero, en todos los casos, dotados con competencias blandas que generen propuestas transformadoras en escenarios internacionales, lo que se convierte en una innovación curricular para la educación superior. En el año 2013, el ITM inició un proyecto para fortalecer los procesos de internacionalización de cuatro programas académicos (uno por facultad), viéndose en la necesidad de generar un diagnóstico sobre las competencias interculturales presentes en la comunidad académica. Por su trascendencia y prospectiva se tomó como piloto al programa de Ingeniería de Telecomunicaciones, empleando una metodología basada en el Ciclo Deming, en el que se aplica una técnica de Grupo Focal, válida para cualquier Facultad de Institución de Educación Superior (IES); esta técnica se usó como instrumento de recolección de información cualitativa, para indagar por la percepción de sus estamentos académicos, relacionada en este caso con las experiencias, vivencias y perspectivas respecto a las competencias interculturales, enfocadas desde tres dimensiones: sensibilidad intercultural, relaciones interpersonales y visión global. Tras la aplicación de la metodología, se estableció que las competencias interculturales de la comunidad académica del programa evaluado alcanzaron un nivel de 76,7 % de apropiación, evaluado como de regular cumplimiento, por lo que se deben planear y ejecutar acciones de mejoramiento dentro de los instrumentos concebidos en el Proyecto Educativo del Programa (PEP).
Este trabajo tiene por objeto proponer una metodología para la programación de autómatas programables con TIA Portal a partir de Redes de Petri. Para esto se selecciona una aplicación industrial donde se requiere hacer una mezcla de pinturas, se presenta entonces un proceso simulado compuesto por tres tanques con sus correspondientes válvulas que se activarán por un tiempo determinado de acuerdo con el color requerido en la preparación, tres pulsadores seleccionarán el color de la pintura que se quiere producir. Inicialmente se plantea la red de Petri y luego por medio de matrices se despliega la ecuación de estados para los disparos de todas las transiciones hasta regresar al estado inicial. La metodología establece que luego se deben asociar las salidas a los diferentes estados y las transiciones se asocian a entradas. La red de Petri es entonces traducida al lenguaje de programación teniendo cuidado de activar el estado siguiente y desactivando el estado anterior según la transición que se dé. Finalmente, las salidas son activadas de acuerdo a los estados en que fueron ubicadas. Al realizar la simulación en el PLC, se pudo comprobar el comportamiento adecuado de la secuencia de acuerdo con lo que se tenía previsto, demostrándose así la efectividad de la metodología Presentada.
En este trabajo se presenta un estudio de identificación de los elementos de seguridad que afectan a la industria textil –que utiliza sistemas SCADA– los riesgos de fuga, indisponibilidad o alteración no permitida de la información en los ambientes comunes en que operan las tecnologías de la información (TI) y las tecnologías de operación (TO). Para llevar a cabo lo anterior se utilizaron los elementos identificados en la guía de seguridad para los sistemas de control industrial NIST 800-82 y el modelo de madurez en ciberseguridad C2M2. Como resultado se obtuvieron los elementos de seguridad que se ven involucrados en los diferentes procesos, tendencias tecnológicas de la industria analizada; de otra parte, se realizó un comparativo del modelo C2M2 y la NIST 800-82.
