INTRODUÇÃO:O Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS), por meio do Programa Nacional de Imunizações (PNI), oferece todas as vacinas recomendadas pela Organização Mundial da Saúde (OMS) no Calendário Nacional, sendo esse uma referência mundial por ofertar de maneira gratuita um rol extenso e abrangente de imunobiológicos. Entre as formas de prevenção do vírus da hepatite B (HBV), destacam-se o aumento da cobertura vacinal em consonância com a imunização contra esse patógeno, que acomete os hepatócitos e leva à doença infectocontagiosa de evolução aguda ou crônica. OBJETIVOS: Este estudo teve como objetivo, analisar a prevalência da cobertura vacinal contra Hepatite B no estado de Rondônia entre os anos de 2018 a 2022. METODOLOGIA: Para tanto, utilizou-se a porcentagem da cobertura vacinal ano a ano, disponibilizada pelo Departamento de Informática do Sistema Único de Saúde (DATASUS), através da assistência à saúde em imunização. RESULTADOS: No período de 2018 a 2022, verificou-se que o Programa Nacional de Imunizações (PNI) obteve a média de 86,4% de cobertura vacinal em Rondônia. No ano de 2018, essa média alcançou 99,94% e correspondeu à maior cobertura vacinal entre os 5 anos da pesquisa. Em 2019, 89,66% dos cidadãos foram vacinados e uma queda para 85,79% foi observada em 2020. Outrossim, em 2021, houve um declínio para 74,42% e no ano de 2022, entretanto, a cobertura vacinal aumentou para 82,18% no estado. CONCLUSÃO: Embora a análise dos dados coletados evidencie uma boa prevalência da cobertura vacinal do estado de Rondônia, observou-se uma importante queda nos anos de 2020-2021. Portanto, levantou-se a hipótese de interferência da pandemia de COVID-19, bem como o desenvolvimento de movimentos anti-vacinas. Ademais, pontuou-se a necessidade dos serviços de saúde fornecerem maior acesso e incentivo à vacinação em sua área de abrangência, a fim de contribuir para que a cobertura vacinal cresça significativamente nos próximos anos.
