Este artigo analisa a legislação educacional paraense a partir do o último regulamento da instrução pública no Império, Portaria de 29 de abril de 1871, fazendo um paralelo com o Decreto nº 149 de 7 de maio de 1890, primeiro do período republicano. A indagação foi se houve avanços nos direitos femininos relativos à instrução pública nesses documentos legais? Para responder traçamos os objetivos de identificar as principais semelhanças e diferenças nas legislações mencionadas; verificar o processo de inserção da mulher tanto como discente quanto docente no sistema público de instrução e detectar as principais características da educação feminina. Trata-se de uma pesquisa histórica, bibliográfica e documental. Após seleção e análise das fontes com base em Bardin (2010), foi possível inferir que houve uma maior participação das mulheres na instrução a partir do advento da República, inclusive com o direito de voto e candidatura a cargo no Conselho Superior de Instrução Publica.
RESUMOO trabalho trata sobre uma discussão inicial a respeito do perfil da educação direcionada para o ensino médio paraense por meio das parcerias público-privadas a partir do ano de 2012. Objetiva-se apresentar informações sobre a intensificação das relações do setor público com as instituições privadas em âmbito nacional, destacando os dados referentes ao estado do Pará. Utilizou-se uma abordagem qualitativa e observou-se que o Pará acompanhou o movimento do governo federal em prol do estabelecimento dessas parcerias. Revela-se que o perfil da educação para o ensino médio paraense é voltado para atender os interesses empresariais, pautado pela lógica do mercado.
