Enquadramento: a intervenção dos profissionais de saúde no processo de luto é uma necessidade de saúde no processo de fim-de-vida do doente paliativo e sua família. Objetivo: mapear a evidência científica sobre quais as intervenções desenvolvidas pelos profissionais de saúde na gestão do luto no contexto de cuidados paliativos. Metodologia: scoping review, seguindo a mnemónica P (participantes), C (conceito) e C (contexto) recomendada pelo Joanna Briggs Institute. Resultados: foram selecionados três artigos, dois dos quais se referem a programas de gestão do luto pela perda de uma familiar criança e um pela perda de familiar adulto. As intervenções desenvolvidas pelas equipas de saúde na gestão do luto iniciam-se no processo de fim-de-vida da pessoa. Relacionam-se com o suporte, criação de memórias e manutenção do contacto com a família após a morte da pessoa. Conclusão: o processo de luto associado à perda de uma criança é muito complexo e requer uma visão muito particular. Mais estudos devem ser desenvolvidos sobre as intervenções direcionadas na gestão de luto em cuidados paliativos.
