Emotional recognition has arisen as an essential field of study that can expose a variety of valuable inputs. Emotion can be articulated in several means that can be seen, like speech and facial expressions, written text, and gestures. Emotion recognition in a text document is fundamentally a content-based classification issue, including notions from natural language processing (NLP) and deep learning fields. Hence, in this study, deep learning assisted semantic text analysis (DLSTA) has been proposed for human emotion detection using big data. Emotion detection from textual sources can be done utilizing notions of Natural Language Processing. Word embeddings are extensively utilized for several NLP tasks, like machine translation, sentiment analysis, and question answering. NLP techniques improve the performance of learning-based methods by incorporating the semantic and syntactic features of the text. The numerical outcomes demonstrate that the suggested method achieves an expressively superior quality of human emotion detection rate of 97.22% and the classification accuracy rate of 98.02% with different state-of-the-art methods and can be enhanced by other emotional word embeddings.
Background: Feature extraction from photoplethysmography (PPG) signals is an essential step to analyze vascular and hemodynamic information. Different morphologies of PPG waveforms from different measurement sites appear. Various phenomena of missing or ambiguous features exist, which limit subsequent signal processing. Methods: The reasons that cause missing or ambiguous features of finger and wrist PPG pulses are analyzed based on the concept of component waves from pulse decomposition. Then, a systematic approach for missing-feature imputation and ambiguous-feature resolution is proposed. Results: From the experimental results, with the imputation and ambiguity resolution technique, features from 35,036 (98.7%) of 35,502 finger PPG cycles and 36307 (99.1%) of 36,652 wrist PPG cycles can be successfully identified. The extracted features became more stable and the standard deviations of their distributions were reduced. Furthermore, significant correlations up to 0.92 were shown between the finger and wrist PPG waveforms regarding the positions and widths of the third to fifth component waves. Conclusion: The proposed missing-feature imputation and ambiguous-feature resolution solve the problems encountered during PPG feature extraction and expand the feature availability for further processing. More intrinsic properties of finger and wrist PPG are revealed. The coherence between the finger and wrist PPG waveforms enhances the applicability of the wrist PPG.
Industrial IoT (IIoT) in Industry 4.0 integrates everything at the level of information technology with the level of technology of operation and aims to improve Business to Business (B2B) services (from production to public services). It includes Machine to Machine (M2M) interaction either for process control (e.g., factory processes, fleet tracking) or as part of self-organizing cyber-physical distributed control systems without human intervention. A critical factor in completing the abovementioned actions is the development of intelligent software systems in the context of automatic control of the business environment, with the ability to analyze in real-time the existing equipment through the available interfaces (hardware-in-the-loop). In this spirit, this paper presents an advanced intelligent approach to real-time monitoring of the operation of industrial equipment. A hybrid novel methodology that combines memory neural networks is used, and Bayesian methods that examine a variety of characteristic quantities of vibration signals that are exported in the field of time, with the aim of real-time detection of abnormalities in active IIoT equipment are also used.
E-commerce platform can recommend products to users by analyzing consumers’ purchase behavior preference. In the clustering process, the existing methods of purchasing behavior preference analysis are easy to fall into the local optimal problem, which makes the results of preference analysis inaccurate. Therefore, this paper proposes a method of consumer purchasing behavior preference analysis on e-commerce platform based on data mining algorithm. Create e-commerce platform user portrait template with consumer data records, select attribute variables and set value range. This paper uses data mining algorithm to extract the purchase behavior characteristics of user portrait template, takes the characteristics as the clustering analysis object, designs the clustering algorithm of consumer purchase behavior, and grasps the common points of group behavior. On this basis, the model of consumer purchase behavior preference is established to predict and evaluate the behavior preference. The experimental results show that the accuracy rate of this method is 91.74%, the recall rate is 88.67%, and the F1 value is 90.17%, which are higher than the existing methods, and can provide consumers with more satisfactory product information push.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
