Objective: develop and evaluate a vaccine application for mobile devices, with update integrated with the National Immunization Program Information System, for care in vaccination rooms. Method: methodological research based on the Pressman System Development Life Cycle theory developed in three stages: integrative literature review, computational development, and application evaluation. The product was evaluated as to satisfaction, using a validated questionnaire, and as to usability by the System Usability Scale. Results: the application functionalities were based on the survey of technological Innovations on immunization, published in the scientific literature. It displays user vaccines directly from the National Immunization Program Information System, notifies about upcoming vaccines, and enables the inclusion of vaccine cards of dependents. The evaluation resulted in users’ mean score of 90.5 ± 11.1 and health professionals’ mean score of 84.2 ± 19.4. Conclusion: the application is a technological tool with potential to improve the work process in vaccination rooms and to reach the goals of vaccine coverage. It synchronizes data with the National Immunization Program Information System, thus enabling the maintenance of people’s vaccination history.
Descritores: Adolescente; Obesidade; Software; Estado Nutricional; Tecnologia Educacional; Aplicativos Móveis.ABSTRACT Objective: to demonstrate the effect of the use of educational applications / softwares on adolescents' knowledge / behavior about physical activity and healthy eating. Method: this is a descriptive, descriptive, integrative review, of studies published between 2013 and 2017 in the PUBMED / MEDILINE, LILACS and Cochrane central databases. The search was carried out in April and May 2017, using controlled descriptors included in DeCS, and the results presented in the form of figures, discussed with the literature. Results: it was noticed that there is no consensus in the literature about the effects of the use of applications / softwares in improving the knowledge and behavior of adolescents about physical activity and healthy eating. Conclusion: it is believed, therefore, to be of great importance to carry out further studies in the development of educational applications / software aimed at applying behavioral change techniques so that the use of the applications / softwares by the adolescents can present the improvement of knowledge and behavior about physical activity and healthy eating. Objective: to analyze the impact of educational software on the behavior of adolescents about obesity prevention in two public schools of Divinópolis-MG. Method: uncontrolled clinical trial involving 238 adolescents, in the city of Divinópolis, MG, Brazil. Between June and October 2018, weight and height were measured, 24-hour dietary recall was performed, physical activity level was verified, socioeconomic classification and the stage of readiness for behavioral change was evaluated. The McNemar test was used to compare the qualitative variables. For the effect of the intervention on the quantitative variables, the Generalized Estimating Equations model was used. In the intervention, the educational game Healthy Running was used, developed for this study. Data were collected before and two months after the intervention. Results: among the participants, 62.6% are female, with a median age of 16.7 years, ranging from 15 to 19 years. Regarding the nutritional situation before the intervention, 18.5% had excess weight. As to the level of physical activity is concerned, 50.4% were classified as active. After the intervention, the z-score of body mass index for males showed a significant improvement (p<0.000), as well as the level of physical activity (p<0.001). Conclusion: the use of the educational game was valid and presented relevant results in improving the adolescents' behavior regarding food and physical activity. The use of the educational game can be considered appropriate to support education in the health area.
AbstractKnowledge is, nowadays, a key factor in defining and analyzing the development of a country and its population as a whole. The construction of knowledge inevitably occurs through collaborations, where researchers gather towards common goals, forming the scientific collaboration networks. Such networks are characterized when researchers perform and publish their work jointly, regardless of the institution or geographic region in which they are located. The scientific collaboration between different institutions enables the exchange of knowledge and consequently effective exchange of experiences, promoting the evolution of science. In this context, analyzing such networks can provide knowledge as it has the scientific collaboration between research institutions and how these collaborations have contributed to the excellence of the research conducted. This job aims to analyze the network of institutional collaborations from data from Lattes Curriculum. Networks are characterized by collaboration between researchers from different institutions after the characterization of networks, large data visualization techniques and metrics of network analysis are applied to see how the national scientific collaboration has occurred.
