Rhizoctonia solani é um fungo que sobrevive no solo e pode atacar diversas plantas, donde vem a necessidade de utilizar produtos para seu controle, sendo os alternativos um nicho a ser explorado, dentre os quais tem destaque o licor pirolenhoso. O objetivo deste trabalho foi estudar a interação in vitro de diferentes dosagens do licor pirolenhoso com o fungo Rhizoctonia solani. O experimento foi realizado na Universidade do Estado de Mato Grosso - UNEMAT, Alta Floresta, implantado no delineamento inteiramente casualizado (DIC) com 7 tratamentos (0% (testemunha); 1,5%; 3%; 4,5%; 6%; 7,5% e 9%), 5 repetições e unidade amostral com 2 placas. O fungo foi coletado em plantas de milho, cultivado em placa de petri e identificado como Rhizoctonia solani. O licor pirolenhoso foi obtido de produtor local. Foram calculados IVCM e PIC com base em medições diárias do diâmetro das colônias, submetidos a análise de regressão. IVCM e PIC mostram que a testemunha e a dose 1,5% apresentaram semelhanças no desenvolvimento do fungo, sem inibição no desenvolvimento do mesmo. Ainda mostram que o licor pirolenhoso controla totalmente a Rhizoctonia solani a partir das doses iguais ou acima de 4,5%, e o controle efetivo ocorre entre as doses 3,0% e 4,5%. Assim, para controle total do fungo é indicado o uso de 45 ml.L-1 de licor pirolenhoso, sendo que doses superiores 30 ml.L-1 já apresentam controle satisfatório do fungo. Portanto ao se utilizar doses iguais ou maiores que 4,5% de licor pirolenhoso ocorre o controle do fungo Rhizoctonia solani.
Gramíneas são plantas predominantes nas áreas da pecuária, cerca de 50% dessas áreas estão degradadas ou em processo de degradação, favorecendo o aparecimento de plantas daninhas. As pastagens brasileiras acomodam diversas plantas daninhas, sendo as principais Paspalum virgatum L. e Sporobolus indicus (L.) R.Br.. Com a degradação e infestação, há necessidade de reformar as pastagens e produtos derivados do microrganismo Trichoderma sp., podem ser utilizados como um promotor de crescimento, contudo, sua interação com gramíneas são desconhecidas. Assim, o objetivo do trabalho foi, avaliar o efeito do fungo na germinação (G) e no Índice de velocidade de germinação (IVG) das plantas daninhas e gramíneas forrageiras. O experimento, realizado na Universidade do Estado de Mato Grosso, município de Alta Floresta, implantado em delineamento inteiramente ao acaso, com três repetições, com 50 sementes por placa, em esquema fatorial duplo 4x9. Os fatores principais são as gramíneas forrageiras (Brachiaria brizantha cv. Marandu e Panicum maximum cv. Mombaça), e as plantas daninhas (Paspalum virgatum L. (capim-navalha) e Sporobolus indicus (L.) R.Br. (capim-capeta)), o fator secundário as doses do Trichoderma sp. (0 (testemunha); 0,05; 0,09; 0,14; 0,18; 0,23; 0,27; 0,32; 0,37 em mL). Houve interação significativa para ambas as variáveis analisadas, sendo a dose 0,14 mL indicada para aplicação na semente Marandu, desde que não esteja presente a planta daninha capim-navalha. Doses acima de 0,05 mL não são recomendadas na presença de capim-navalha.
