ABSTRAK The purpose of this research is (1) to improve the social skill of elementary school students, (2) finding adequate instructional design model to improve students' social skill. The research is conducted in the classroom action research consists of two cycles, every cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The average value of Social Skills students in cycle one is 62.01 and 72.52 in the two cycles. The values percentage in the classical mastery of social skills is 40% in cycle 1 and 85.85% in cycle 2. Based on the result, the conclusions are: 1) Model cooperative learning with experiential learning approach, can improve students' social skills. (2) Instructional design to improve the social skills of students in learning social studies is a model of cooperative learning with experiential learning approach Keywords: cooperative model, experiental learning, social skill.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa sekolah dasar,(2) menemukan model desain pembelajaran yang memadai untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa. Model penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang yang terdiri dari dua siklus, masing-masing siklus memuat perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasilnya adalah sebagai berikut: (1) rata-rata keterampilan sosial siswa pada siklus 1 adalah 62,01 dan 72,52 pada siklus 2. Persentase nilai keterampilan sosial siswa adalah 40% pada siklus 1, dan 85,85% pada siklus 2. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, disimpulkan bahwa: (1) model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan pendekatan experiental learning dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa, (2) salah satu desain instruksional untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa adalah dengan pembelajaran kooperatif yang menggunakan experiental learning Kata kunci: model kooperatif, experiental learning, keterampilan sosial.
There is an increasing number of students using smart phones and tablets in Elementary teac her education college. Mobile devices gained popularity as an educational tool and there are many colleges that used them frequently in educational activities to improve learning. There are many augmented reality (AR) applications available that can be used to create educational contents for these mobile devices.This paper surveys students' need for the importance of using augmented reality as a media in art learning. Ourgoalis to develop prototy pe augmented reality media as a follow up of the needs analysis c onducted on elementary school teacher education students. The aim of this study is to obtain 1) description of the use of learning media as teac hing resource on art learning process, that has been happening in the field 2) formulation of learning media that needs to be developed on art learning. This research is based on the unavailability of learning media that c an develop student appreciation to ac hieve a more meaningful understanding in appreciating the artwork in the subject of Art Education.The study is development study in the early stages of needs analysis. The results of descriptive analysis of the study found that 1) the use of learning media as teac hing resource on art learning process that has been happening in the field has not done optimally. 2) The learning media that needs to be developed in art learning is in the form of augmented reality.
