Objetivo: Descrever a ocorrência do câncer de mama em gestantes, bem como discutir as principais formas de diagnóstico e de tratamento, a partir de uma revisão narrativa de literatura. Revisão bibliográfica: O câncer de mama em gestantes, apesar de raro, é o tipo mais comum de câncer diagnosticado neste período. As alterações fisiológicas e anatômicas que ocorrem durante a gravidez podem fazer com que o diagnóstico ocorra tardiamente e com pior prognóstico. Os procedimentos para o diagnóstico e estadiamento da neoplasia devem levar em consideração a capacidade danosa para o feto, em virtude da radiação dos equipamentos e materiais de contraste, assim, a ultrassonografia é o exame de imagem padrão ouro. Em relação ao tratamento, a mastectomia e a dissecção dos linfonodos axilares fazem parte do plano terapêutico cirúrgico e a quimioterapia pode ser realizada após o primeiro trimestre. Considerações finais: É essencial que ocorra uma avaliação individualizada, considerando a idade gestacional e o estágio da doença, a fim de que seja instituída a terapia adequada a cada paciente, minimizando os impactos à gestante e ao feto.
Objetivo: Descrever os efeitos e discutir as consequências das medidas de contenção da COVID-19 em crianças com o Transtorno do Espectro Autista (TEA). Revisão bibliográfica: A pandemia mundial causada pelo coronavírus SARS-CoV-2 fez com que fossem necessárias medidas de restrição para evitar a circulação viral, incluindo o isolamento social, o uso de máscaras e cuidados de higiene. Essas medidas afetaram a vida de todas as pessoas, no entanto, portadores de doenças psiquiátricas foram especialmente afetados por esse contexto e crianças com TEA se mostraram vulneráveis às mudanças de rotina e medidas de distanciamento que a pandemia exigiu. Como essas crianças apresentam a necessidade de acompanhamento multidisciplinar e realização de atividades para desenvolvimento de habilidades, o fechamento de estabelecimentos, clínicas e escolas, bem como a mudança repentina de hábitos, afetaram a saúde mental e o desenvolvimento cognitivo, social e comportamental de crianças com o espectro autista. Considerações finais: Nesse contexto é perceptível a maior responsabilidade dos cuidadores dessas crianças em adaptar rotinas e atividades no ambiente domiciliar, a fim de prevenir maiores consequências, sendo necessário, também, o cuidado com o próprio bem-estar, de forma a evitar a sobrecarga e o estresse excessivo.
Objetivo: Abordar a saúde psicológica das mulheres diagnosticadas com câncer de mama após mastectomia. Revisão bibliográfica: O câncer de mama é o tumor que mais acomete a população do sexo feminino e apresenta altos índices de incidência anuais e tem em seu prognóstico precoce e consequente tratamento breve melhores desfechos, porém como a maioria dos casos é diagnosticado em fases mais avançadas em nosso país, os tratamentos são mais agressivos, como isso, a evolução da doença e suas consequências na vida das mulheres acometidas por esta patologia são características a serem abordadas neste artigo, levando em consideração as seguintes categorias de análise: (1) Estresse psicológico após mastectomia; (2) Impactos sociais e sexuais; (3) Benefícios da reconstrução mamária. Considerações finais: O processo pós mastectomia deve ser melhor elucidado para todas as mulheres que passam por esta operação. Tal abordagem deve ser realizada tanto pelo profissional que realizou o procedimento quanto pelo sistema de saúde ao qual essa paciente está vinculada, de forma a minimizar os impactos físicos e psicológicos decorrentes desta intervenção e acelerar o processo de readaptação social.
