Zusammenfassung
In zwei Versuchen an insgesamt 4126 Mastküken wurde der Einfluß von 1% Octaferm in der Basalration auf Wachstum und Futterverwertung geprüft. Octaferm ist die Handelsbezeichnung für ein standardisiertes UGF‐Konzentrat aus verschiedenen Fermentationsrückständen der Gärungsindustrie. Als Basalrationen wurden Mischungen mit entweder rein pflanzlichen Proteinen oder mit Fischmehlanteilen von 5% verwendet, die ohne bzw. mit dem Zusatz eines Fütterungsantibiotikums (Zinkbacitracin, Oxytetracyclin) angeboten wurden. Versuchsserie I wurde über vier Wochen durchgeführt, Versuch II wurde nach 50 Tagen beendet.
Im Mittel von 4126 Küken wurde das 4‐Wochen‐Gewicht der Kontrollgruppen mit 653 g durch den Octafermzusatz um 4% erhöht. Damit ging eine Einsparung von 50 g Futter/kg Zunahme einher, was einer um 3% verbesserten Futterverwertung entspricht. Das 50‐Tage‐Gewicht von 1023 Broilern der Octafermgruppen lag mit 1477 g signifikant (P<0,05) um 2% über dem Körpergewicht der Kontrolltiere. Die Futterverwertung verbesserte sich um 4% von 2,02 auf 1,94 g Futter/g Zunahme, entsprechend einer Futtereinsparung von 80 g/kg Zunahme.
Aus den Ergebnissen wird auf eine deutliche, gut reproduzierbare UGF‐Wirkung von Octaferm geschlossen.
