Objetivo: Identificar os parâmetros diagnósticos da hepatite autoimune pediátrica em prol de favorecer a precisão e precocidade do diagnóstico e posterior prognóstico positivo através da utilização de medidas terapêuticas adequadas. Métodos: Trata-se de uma Revisão Bibliográfica Integrativa realizada por meio de pesquisas nas bases de dados, Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (Lilacs), Scientific Electronic Library Online (Scielo) e PubMed. Foram encontrados 557 estudos e selecionados, após os critérios de inclusão, 10 estudos para compor. Resultados: As apresentações clínicas da HAI não são específicas. Diante desse contexto, os parâmetros diagnósticos são baseados além das características clínicas, o que inclui os métodos bioquímicos, imunológicos e histológicos para a sua confirmação. As medidas terapêuticas são prontamente instituídas após diagnóstico, cuja intenção é reduzir os danos hepáticos progressivos e conta como principais escolhas os corticosteróides associados aos imunossupressores. Considerações finais: A HAI apresenta a necessidade de diagnóstico complementar e introdução medicamentosa que controle os danos hepáticos a fim de evitar repercussões sistêmicas e morbimortalidade infantil.
