O presente trabalho busca descrever e analisar o processo de modernização do ensino da Matemática em Vitória da Conquista e Tanquinho, municípios localizados no estado da Bahia. O recorte temporal refere-se ao período compreendido entre os anos 1960 e 1970, momento em que aconteceu, de maneira efetiva, esse movimento de modernização da Matemática, que contou com diferentes atores (professores, instituições, cientistas, entre outros), e que, notadamente, apresentou características diferentes dos movimentos de mudança na educação em geral ocorridos até então. Este movimento, em determinado momento, se constituiu em uma rede, por intermédio das ações de seus sujeitos, da circulação de ideias e tradução de interesses. Intencionou-se investigar como os processos de institucionalização, profissionalização e modernização chegaram ao interior do estado da Bahia; de que maneira a modernização da Matemática chegou às escolas de Vitória da Conquista e de Tanquinho; como os professores se apropriaram dos conteúdos sugeridos pela modernização do ensino da Matemática na realização da pesquisa. As fontes documentais primárias - diários de classe, cadernos, atas, enfim, fontes escritas - foram priorizadas, como também as fontes orais - obtidas em entrevistas com professores que participaram do processo de modernização do ensino de Matemática. Após o levantamento da documentação das escolas, o trabalho restringiu-se a quatro escolas que estavam ativas naquele período. Dessa forma, foi possível a identificação de alguns conteúdos relacionados ao movimento de modernização do ensino da Matemática, para, posteriormente, buscar contato com professores identificados na documentação das escolas. Assim, com a análise dos documentos orais e escritos, encontraram-se indícios de como o processo de institucionalização, profissionalização e modernização do ensino de Matemática se desenvolveu e chegou às escolas, dentro do processo da rede de atores no contexto do estado Bahia.
Ao longo da história do ensino e, especificamente, do ensino de Matemática, ocorreram reformas voltadas para metodologias e procedimentos de ensino. Os movimentos de internacionalização do ensino da matéria geraram várias discussões, e, ao longo do tempo, foram desenvolvidas metodologias, conhecidas como Tendências em Educação Matemática, nos Cursos de Licenciaturas e de Pós-Graduação. Neste estudo, objetivamos conhecer as concepções de professores de Matemática sobre essas tendências, de modo a responder à seguinte questão: Quais as percepções que professores de Matemática têm em relação às Tendências em Educação Matemática? Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa, cujos dados foram coletados por meio de um questionário elaborado no Sistema de Formulários Google (Google Forms), enviado aos endereços eletrônicos dos professores selecionados. Os resultados obtidos possibilitaram-nos ter as seguintes informações: todos os professores eram licenciados; todos tiveram conhecimento das têndencias no período da Graduação, no Mestrado ou quando estudavam para concursos públicos; todos faziam uso das tendências em suas práticas de sala de aula e acreditavam proporcionar um ambiente de aprendizagem benéfico para os estudantes.
Resumo: O artigo objetiva analisar as possibilidades de contribuição do Software de Autoria Visual Class no planejamento de atividades de Matemática na docência nos anos iniciais. Apresentamos aqui o resultado de uma pesquisa de mestrado, desenvolvida e fundamentada na pesquisa-formação e executada em um Curso de Extensão, entre julho/setembro de 2016, com quatro professoras. A produção de dados foi composta pelo relato escrito da pesquisadora e o planejamento das aulas de Matemática das docentes, ambos analisados pela metodologia da Análise Textual Discursiva (ATD). Os resultados da investigação apontam para o fato de que, ensinar a Matemática utilizando as tecnologias demanda elaboração e aplicação de planos de aula com base nos conhecimentos curriculares, que contemplem aspectos pedagógicos e tecnológicos, com objetivos que atendam às necessidades de aprendizagens dos estudantes.
Neste momento difícil que toda a humanidade enfrenta, é com satisfação que apresentamos o segundo número de 2020, fruto da crença que temos na educação e pesquisa. Nos artigos submetidos sob demanda os autores Cleomar Maciel de Araújo Vieira, Manoela de Sousa Dias, Ana Samara França Miranda intitulado "Nivelando Conhecimentos Matemáticos: uma ação de Equidade Educacional desenvolvida na Escola Gustavo Barroso em Jaguaribe-Ceará", apresentam uma ação desenvolvida por professores de Matemática no ensino médio. O artigo seguinte "A utilização de atividades diversificadas no processo de ensinoaprendizagem da Primeira Lei de Mendel" de autoria de Vitor Garcia Stoll, Crisna Daniela Krause Bierhalz foca no desenvolvimento de atividades relacionadas com a Lei de Mendel na Educção de Jovens e Edultos.
Neste artigo apresentamos o resultado da pesquisa desenvolvida sobre a utilização de recursos digitais na disciplina “Conteúdo e Metodologia do Ensino Fundamental de Matemática”, na turma da Licenciatura em Pedagogia da Universidade Estadual do Sudoeste da Bahia (UESB). Avaliamos a utilização do Facebook como ambiente virtual na educação, adaptado para a educação formal presencial da licenciatura. Os resultados indicam que esta rede social pode ser utilizada com vantagens em relação a outros ambientes existentes.
