Objetivo: Analisar a repercussão do diagnóstico da Doença de Alzheimer (DA) na qualidade de vida do idoso e de seus cuidadores. Métodos: Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa de literatura baseada na pergunta norteadora: Quais os desafios encontrados por pacientes com Alzheimer e seus cuidadores? Foram selecionados artigos científicos, publicados entre 2012 e 2018, nas bases de dados Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS) e Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO). Os descritores “Doença de Alzheimer”, “Cuidadores”, “Idoso” e o operador booleano AND foram utilizados para a busca. Foram selecionados dezoito artigos científicos disponíveis na íntegra nas bases de dados mencionadas, com idioma em português, inglês ou espanhol e publicação durante o período proposto. Foram excluídos resumos, teses e monografias. Resultados: Os estudos analisados demonstram que o diagnóstico de Doença de Alzheimer (DA) envolve situações desgastantes, já que o declínio cognitivo dos idosos altera o cotidiano familiar e requer assistência integral dos cuidadores, os quais, frequentemente, sentem-se sobrecarregados e têm maior risco de apresentar problemas de saúde. Conclusões: O processo de cuidar na Doença de Alzheimer (DA) tem impacto na qualidade de vida não só dos pacientes com DA, mas também de seus cuidadores e familiares. Considerando a tendência de envelhecimento das populações, trata-se de um cenário desafiador que requer visão holística sobre a condição dos idosos e de seus acompanhantes.
Introdução: A Artrite Idiopática Juvenil (AIJ), artropatia crônica mais prevalente nos primeiros anos de vida, caracteriza-se por artrite objetiva persistente em uma ou mais articulações por, no mínimo, seis semanas, com apresentações clínicas diversas. Objetivo: abordar os conceitos a respeito da história clínica da Artrite Idiopática Juvenil direcionando-os para a sua fisiopatologia, seu diagnóstico e tratamento. Metodologia: Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa de literatura, pautada na pergunta norteadora: “Artrite Idiopática Juvenil: como se dá a sua fisiopatologia, seu diagnóstico, e tratamento?”. O levantamento bibliográfico foi realizado nas seguintes bases de dados: Portal Regional BVS (LILACS), Scientific Eletronic Library Online (SciELO) e National Library of Medicine (PUBMED). Os Descritores Controlados de Ciências da Saúde (DeCS) utilizados na busca, em associação ao operador booleano “AND”, foram: “Artrite Juvenil Idiopática”; “Tratamento”; “Diagnóstico”. Foram selecionados 19 artigos, publicados entre 2014 e 2021, que estavam de acordo com o objetivo da pesquisa e se enquadravam nos seguintes critérios de inclusão: artigos publicados em português, inglês ou espanhol, cujos títulos e resumos mostraram-se em consonância com o propósito da revisão de literatura, indexados nos referidos bancos de dados. Artigos repetidos, dissertações e resumos de anais foram excluídos. Resultados: Desse modo, foram encontrados 87 artigos nas bases de dados supracitadas, o que reforça o caráter patológico obscuro da artrite idiopática juvenil, de maneira que os fatores etiológicos e fisiopatológicos ainda não bem esclarecidos, acreditando-se que estes relacionam-se a fatores genéticos, ambientais e associações com outras artrites crônicas. O diagnóstico é eminentemente clínico, porém alguns exames como, fator reumatoide, PCR e anti-CCP podem ser usados com fins prognósticos e acompanhamento do curso inflamatório, bem como para divisão em sete subtipos de Artrite idiopática Juvenil: sistêmica, oligarticular, poliarticular com fator reumatoide positivo, poliarticular com fator reumatoide negativo, artrite psoriásica, artrite relacionada à entesite (ARE) e forma indiferenciada. Nesse ínterim, o tratamento deve ser individualizado, centrado nas necessidades de cada paciente, visto a variedade de subtipos e manifestações clínicas dessa entidade clínica, de forma a possibilitar o controle da inflamação e restauração das articulações afetadas. Nessa análise, de forma geral, os tratamentos são conduzidos com anti-inflamatórios não esteroidais, glicorticoides, imunobiológicos e tratamento não farmacológico, caracterizado por atenção psicossocial, orientações dietéticas e exercícios físicos. Conclusão: Portanto, é possível inferir que se trata de uma patologia de importância clínica em que os fatores fisiopatológicos não são completamente conhecidos, o que reforça a necessidade de mais estudos dentro dessa abordagem. Para mais, ressalta-se a necessidade de uma equipe multiprofissional na abordagem e condução do paciente acometido, dado quadro clínico diverso, que requer um tratamento farmacológico e não farmacológico.
Este estudo objetivou identificar as principais formas de tratamento dos hemangiomas de cabeça e pescoço. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura, que teve como questão norteadora a abordagem terapêutica dos hemangiomas. Foi realizado um levantamento bibliográfico nas bases de dados Scielo e Pubmed, entre os anos de 2009 a 2019. A busca resultou na seleção de 28 artigos, após realizou-se averiguação dos seguintes critérios de elegibilidade: acesso livre, publicações nos idiomas português, inglês ou espanhol e estudos cujos títulos e resumos mostraram-se em consonância com o propósito desta revisão. Ao final, selecionaram-se 5 artigos. Foram excluídas, a literatura cinzenta e duplicatas. Mediante a análise crítica dos estudos, estimou-se que apenas 10 a 20% dos hemangiomas necessitam de tratamento. As opções terapêuticas para o hemangioma são diversas, variando conforme as características dos pacientes e peculiaridades da lesão, como localização, tamanho, estágio evolutivo e a natureza, arterial ou venosa. O tratamento das lesões menores e periféricas consiste, principalmente, na escleroterapia e excisão cirúrgica. Por outro lado, as lesões maiores e/ou intraósseas, requerem prévia embolização seguida da remoção cirúrgica. Há relatos do uso de fármacos, como o propranolol e corticoides sistêmicos, além da laserterapia, crioterapia e eletrocauterização. Hemangiomas na região de cabeça e pescoço são patologias complexas, relativamente comuns e a terapêutica deve ser direcionada individualmente, mediante as peculiaridades de cada caso.
Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo averiguar a repercussão dos fluxos migratórios na saúde mental de crianças e adolescentes refugiados, como também verificar qual o impacto dessas alterações mentais na gênese da síndrome da resignação. Para isso, fez-se uso de uma revisão integrativa de literatura nas bases de dados eletrônicas: LILACS, SciELO, Frontiers e na revista FIDES-UFRN. Utilizaram-se os seguintes descritores: “Refugiados”, “Saúde Mental”, “Criança”, “Síndrome” e “Coma”. O operador booleano “AND” foi utilizado. Incluíram-se artigos disponíveis na íntegra; publicados entre 2016 e 2021; em português, inglês ou espanhol; cujos títulos e resumos estivessem em consonância com o propósito deste estudo. Excluíram-se teses, dissertações e resumos de anais. Posteriormente, foram realizadas a coleta, análise crítica e síntese dos dados. A síndrome da resignação configura-se como uma patologia ainda obscura e pouco detalhada, no tocante a sua etiologia e a fisiopatologia envolvidas. Infere-se também, que os estudos voltados a análise da saúde mental de crianças refugiadas ainda são escassos, porém os dados apontam para existência direta de sofrimento psíquico nessa faixa etária, o que relaciona-se ao surgimento da síndrome supracitada. Conclui-se, a partir dos dados levantados, que ocorre sofrimento psíquico nas crianças que vivenciam uma migração involuntária. As repercussões desse processo na saúde mental de crianças refugiadas, ilustradas pela síndrome da resignação, revelam a magnitude do sofrimento mental desencadeado por migrações extenuantes e demoradas, marcadas por violência e intolerância, que configuram um problema de saúde pública.
