Organo-phosphorus compounds
Organo-phosphorus compounds S 0080Biological Activity of 1-Arylethylphosphonic Acids. -Compounds with interesting psychotropic and neuroprotecting properties are discovered among the arylethylphosphonic acids (I), prepared by the previously described Pd-catalyzed transfer hydrogenation of the corresponding α-arylvinylphosphonic acids. Most promising derivative is the α-naphthyl derivative (Ic), which shows anti-dopamine, Ca 2+ blocking and neuroprotecting activity. -(BONDARENKO, N. A.; LERMONTOVA, I. N.; BONDARENKO, G. scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
