Éste artículo explora el comportamiento de los niveles del VO2 máximo en futbolistas pre juveniles en diferentes altitudes. El campo de interés está centrado en caracterizar el comportamiento del consumo de oxígeno, en futbolistas jóvenes con respecto a diferentes alturas geográficas y si éste tiene efecto directo sobre el rendimiento deportivo. La ejecución de una prueba conocida como Yoyo test, cuyo objetivo es medir el consumo máximo de oxígeno y la concentración de ácido láctico en sangre, son la base para el desarrollo de la investigación.
Este artículo tiene como objetivo establecer una comparación con respecto a las capacidades condicionales entre las jugadoras de la selección de fútbol femenino del país y los resultados obtenidos a partir de una revisión documental de estudios realizados en el fútbol femenino. Metodológicamente, se divide en dos fases. En la primera explora el comportamiento de las capacidades condicionales en las jugadoras de fútbol que pertenecen a la selección Colombia categoría mayores. El campo de interés está centrado en evaluar las capacidades físicas por medio de diferentes test específicos para cada una de ellas. La segunda fase es de revisión y explora la relación entre los resultados arrojados en la primera fase y estudios similares realizados con respecto al fútbol femenino. La intención es contrastar y evaluar si existe relación entre las futbolistas de la selección Colombia y futbolistas evaluadas por diferentes autores en estudios anteriores con respecto a las capacidades condicionales. Dados los objetivos y el diseño metodológico, los resultados son presentados en dos partes. La primera parte correspondiente a los datos arrojados luego de la aplicación completa de los test, y la segunda parte, que corresponde a los datos obtenidos a partir de la revisión sistemática.
