Este artigo tem como objetivo investigar o uso da tecnologia 3D no ensino de anatomia. Os principais requisitos desse estudo consistem em saber se o uso da tecnologia 3D facilita o aprendizado dos conteúdos abordados no ensino de anatomia humana. Trata-se de um estudo preliminar que pode servir de parâmetros para uma formação crítica, reflexiva e criativa dos alunos da área da saúde com a utilização dos recursos tecnológicos 3D. Nesta revisão, realizada no período de setembro a outubro de 2019, buscou-se artigos indexados nas bases de dados eletrônicas PubMed, ScienceDirect e Google Scholar, publicados em português e inglês, de 2015 a 2019. Os descritores utilizados foram: “3D”, “ensino”, “anatomia humana”, “aprendizado”. Estudos de revisão, artigos com duplicidade de dados; títulos e / ou resumos que não atendem aos critérios de inclusão foram excluídos, bem como trabalhos com ausência de informações pertinentes, totalizando 14 artigos para análise nesta revisão. Embora a prospecção seja o método mais comum de ensino de anatomia, tecnologias recentes, como o software 3D, também são consideradas ferramentas de ensino úteis. Os alunos de graduação apresentaram como única desvantagem a necessidade de ter o recurso tecnológico pra criar ou replicar modelos 3D. A grande maioria dos trabalhos demonstraram satisfação dos estudantes quando estes utilizaram os modelos 3D. O presente trabalho demonstra que os modelos 3D são ferramentas viáveis e suplementares para o estudo da anatomia humana, porém ainda há necessidade de mais estudos para melhor forma de utilização dessas ferramentas no processo de ensino-aprendizagem da anatomia humana.
A pandemia de coronavírus (COVID–19) provocou a paralisação do ensino presencial, acarretando uma mudança imediata no processo educacional em todo o mundo. O objetivo deste estudo consiste em analisar por meio de uma revisão integrativa o uso das diversas tecnologias aplicadas no ensino básico e superior em diferentes áreas de conhecimento, durante a pandemia do COVID-19. A pesquisa é de natureza qualitativa sobre a relação e aplicação das tecnologias no/para o ensino. De acordo com o objetivo possui caráter descritivo e exploratório, utilizando como procedimentos técnicos uma revisão integrativa em relação à temática abordada. A pesquisa foi realizada por meio de artigos indexados nas bases de dados eletrônicos na Science Direct e Google Scholar, publicados em português e inglês, de 2010 a 2020, considerando os seguintes descritores: Tecnologias; Educação; Pandemia e COVID-19. Utilizou-se como critério de inclusão a coerência com o tema, e de exclusão a repetição de artigos ou não adequação ao tema. Foram encontrados 56 artigos (n= 56), que foram reduzidos para (n=12) após análise. Os dados relatam que a inclusão das tecnologias, em especial as digitais incorporadas por meio de plataformas ao ensino remoto, possibilitam uma melhor qualificação no ensino, além de facilitar a aprendizagem os conteúdos desenvolvidos.
A dor causada pela inserção da agulha durante a anestesia local está ligada à ansiedade do paciente no momento do atendimento. Sendo assim, os anestésicos tópicos foram criados com o objetivo de diminuir a sensação dolorosa durante esse procedimento. O presente estudo teve como objetivo principal avaliar a utilização da anestesia tópica por cirurgiões dentistas, antes da administração da anestesia local. Avaliou-se o uso de anestésicos tópicos através de uma coleta de dados por meio de formulário eletrônico, respondido por 53 Cirurgiões Dentistas, professores de uma Universidade de rede particular do estado do Ceará. Por meio do estudo foi possível perceber que 47% dos Dentistas sempre utilizam a anestesia tópica, tendo preferência pelo tipo gel (89%), ao invés do Spray (7%). Múltiplos fatores podem ser responsáveis por uma confusão referente à eficácia do anestésico tópico: distinção da área da aplicação, secagem preliminar da superfície, o tempo de aplicação, método de avaliação da dor e tipo de produto. Concluiu-se que a maioria dos profissionais faz uso da anestesia tópica, principalmente na forma de gel, se destacando os endodontistas, dentistas restauradores, ortodontistas e protesistas. Além disso, indivíduos com mais tempo de formados utilizam anestésicos tópicos mais frequentemente e da forma mais correta.
