Este trabalho propõe-se realizar uma narrativa histórica de uma professora da Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná, buscando compreender três aspectos importantes: a) As histórias de vida como possibilidade investigativa; b) Djamilaser mãe enquanto inspiração; e c) Cientista-mãe-negra: obstáculos formativos e disputas (r)existentes. para isso, nos utilizamos metodologicamente da perspectiva da heteroautobiografia, realizando uma reconstrução dos episódios de vida evocados por ela em suas histórias. por fim, acreditamos que ao compreendermos as possibilidades e subversão e resistência da pesquisadora, podemos repensar os processos formativos da universidade em questão. Reflete-se neste texto a respeito do acesso dos estudantes de escolas públicas do Ensino Básico ao ingresso nas instituições de ensino superior. Atualmente, o Ensino Básico Nacional é continuamente criticado pela sua evasão e por sua demasiada carga de conteúdo. O Ensino Médio, que são os três ou quatro últimos anos dessa etapa são ainda mais arduamente criticados, por se tratar de uma produção criada sem uma identidade muito bem definida e por se esvaziar na sua própria falta de moldura e contexto. Esse problema é gerado por esta expansão e a falta de capacitação e acompanhamento destes estudantes, para que os mesmos não sofram com a evasão do Ensino Médio. Para sanar essas questões, pensamos que um cursinho preparatório de forma voluntária e gratuita. Nesta perspectiva, articular os processos de ensino como uma possibilidade destes sujeitos a ingressar no curso superior.
Tendo em vista que as mulheres negras enfrentam anos de opressão, investigou-se sobre os elementos que provocam a resistência e/ou violência na trajetória dessas mulheres, a fim de compreender como uma mulher é (re)articulada no ambiente acadêmico da Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná. É desta óptica que buscamos registrar e analisar a trajetória formativa de Sonia: mulher negra pesquisadora. Este registro-analise é guiado pela perspectiva teórico-metodológica das heteroautobiografias, que compreende o próprio processo narrativo e interpretativo como indissociáveis, espaço de fala e escuta como já produções analítico-sistemático de sentidos. Diante disso, verificou-se que os elementos que ora fortalecem a possibilidade de ser mulher negra pesquisadora, ora enfraquecem essa possibilidade, já que não se encontram dissociados. Os elementos de exclusões e inclusões rearticulados, fizeram com que ela se tornasse forte e ocupasse o espaço que lhe é excludente, desmitificando assim o mito da meritocracia.
Ao considerar a educação pelo mote da cultura, compreende-se que os diferentes artefactos culturais produzem efeitos pedagógicos nos sujeitos, ou seja, estes modalizam modos de aprender, ensinar e compreender o mundo. Na busca pela compreensão do ser mulher cientista no Brasil, e de como estes corpos que não se faziam vistos, a professora Joana D’Arc é trazida a cena como ícone afirmativo da minoridade nas ciências. Mulher, negra, periférica e cientista. Todavia, por seus traços identitários e pelo protagonismo nas mídias um conjunto de veiculações discursivas a colocam como uma figura de ‘controvérsa’. De tal cenário deriva este trabalho, que tem por objetivo traçar as linhas de produção da imagem da Prof. Dra. Joana D’arc e de sua representação. Para tal são levantadas notícias que retratem a história da mesma, visando o levantamento de seus títulos como síntese destas narrativas sob a óptica dos Estudos Culturais das Ciências e Educação.
