With a comprehensive ophthalmic examination, it is possible to quickly and accurately diagnose most ocular diseases. The retina is connected directly to the anterior part of the brain via the optic nerve. The prediction of diseases affecting the retina is very important for the evaluation of visual impairment in terms of early onset of treatment and prognosis. Owing to sophisticated imaging technologies, a great advancement has been taken for the demonstration, presentation and sharing of patient pathologies. In this review, it is presented to facilitate the detection of diseases by collecting information about the diagnostic imaging of the retina in dogs.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
