Cancer constitutes a major group of chronic diseases and is the second leading cause of death in the developed countries. Palliative care proposes to offer comprehensive support to control symptoms and improve quality of life for patients and their families. Nutrition is an important tool in palliative care, helping patients with their physical, psychological, and social issues and promoting comfort and quality of life. However, in the context of palliative care, nutritional support rarely achieves its role of fully recovering and assuring nutritional status. At this point, the nutritionist must consider the individual patient's needs, preferences, and eating habits, which are essential both for controlling symptoms and assuring satisfaction and comfort. The impossibility of conventionally applying established management and the development of a new perception of the patient often raise dilemmas for professional nutritionists.

The transfusion of blood components is a relevant intervention in current therapy. If used properly, it can significantly decrease the mortality rate and improve the health of patients; however, as in other therapeutic care actions, it can lead to complications such as the transmission of infectious microorganisms among other clinical complications. Therefore, the article aims to write the possible transfusion reactions that affect the patient in blood transfusion and the proposal of strategies to reduce the possible transfusion reactions that affect the patient in blood transfusion. As a methodology, it is an integrative review research, which includes the theoretical conceptions of approach, the set of techniques that enable the construction of reality and the divine breath of the researcher's creative potential. Articles published in virtual databases were used. For this purpose, the Virtual Health Library was used, in the LILACS, BDENF, MEDLINE and Google Scholar databases, with a time frame from 2014 to 2018. After reflective reading of the articles, two categories emerged for data analysis and results found. Transfusion medicine is a complex process that depends on a multidisciplinary team, which plays a fundamental role in the safety of blood transfusion and whose responsibility even consists in keeping the patient informed about the procedures to which he is submitted. It is concluded that the practice of hemotherapy is multiprofessional, and therefore, needs competent, responsible professionals with theoretical and scientific knowledge, to ensure the quality and safety of the patient who experiences the transfusion process transcending the health-disease process.
This is a literature search with a qualitative approach and descriptive character with the objective of identifying the benefits and disadvantages found in the implementation of Electronic Patient Records in the health service. As a methodology, the data were collected in a Virtual Database. For this purpose, the VHL was used, in the following LILACS, MEDLINE, BDENF Information Bases and by the scholar.google.com.br email address, in the period of May 2019. As a result, advantages were found, such as agility in accessing related information to the patient, simultaneous use of medical records, readability, elimination of data redundancy, systematized organization and also disadvantages such as major investments in hardware, software and training, resistance by health professionals and slow and inoperable systems. It is concluded that, for the implementation of the PEP, the standardization of medical records, the establishment of team information flowcharts, the training of all involved and the control and evaluation of results must be considered.
