El objetivo del estudio fue identificar el nivel de procrastinación académica de los estudiantes de educación secundaria de Tacna en la educación a distancia. El enfoque fue cuantitativo, con diseño no experimental y tipo descriptivo-transversal. La muestra estuvo constituida por 338 estudiantes de secundaria. El instrumento empleado fue la “Escala de Procrastinación Académica (EPA)” con adecuados índices de validez y confiabilidad. Los resultados muestran que, en la postergación de actividades, la mayoría de estudiantes presenta un nivel promedio (54 %) y en la autorregulación académica es alto (49.70 %), pero una cuarta parte mostró bajos niveles (24.85 %). También, se encontró diferencia entre los grados de estudios (p=0.013 y 0.001) y los estudiantes hombres (p = 0.000 y 0.000), de instituciones privadas (p=0.000 y 0.002) y quienes no se autoconsideran buenos académicamente (p=0.000 y 0.000), que tienden a postergar más sus actividades y a mostrar menor autorregulación académica. Se concluyó que no predomina un alto nivel de procrastinación en los estudiantes, pero sí existen diferencias significativas entre las variables sociodemográficas.
El propósito del artículo es evidenciar la relación existente entre el nivel inferencial de la comprensión lectora y la producción de textos argumentativos en estudiantes de educación superior. El nivel inferencial de la comprensión lectora es la capacidad del lector de comprender lo leído con el fin de deducir información implícita a partir de lo explícito. La producción textual argumentativa implica postular argumentos que sostienen un punto de vista de forma cohesionada y coherente tomando en cuenta la estructura textual. La investigación tiene un enfoque cuantitativo, de diseño no experimental, con nivel descriptivo correlacional. La muestra probabilística reunió a 132 estudiantes de Estudios Generales de un Instituto Superior privado (SENATI). Los resultados muestran una correlación positiva directa mediante Rho de Spearman r=0,375 y un p-valor 0,001 entre el nivel inferencial de la comprensión lectora y los textos argumentativos. Se concluye que existe relación significativa entre el nivel inferencial de la comprensión lectora y la superestructura en la producción de textos argumentativos.
El Flipped Classroom (FC) es un modelo educativo que invierte las tareas de casa y aula para brindar más espacio al aprendizaje activo en las sesiones sincrónicas mediante la combinación de estrategias flexibles y herramientas digitales. El estudio presenta una revisión sistemática de investigaciones empíricas sobre FC en la formación de profesionales de ciencias fácticas (culturales). La revisión se fundamenta en los indicadores de calidad que sostiene PRISMA con una muestra de 55 artículos de investigación seleccionados con criterios de inclusión y exclusión de las bases de datos Scopus y Web of Science sobre el FC en estudiantes universitarios del campo de las ciencias fácticas entre los años 2016-2020. Los estudios analizados muestran significancia del FC en los estudiantes, así como una actitud, motivación y satisfacción positiva. El modelo se ajusta a otras estrategias de enseñanza-aprendizaje mediante la participación tecnológica y pedagógica. Las limitaciones refieren al tamaño de muestra, duración de la intervención y falta de validación de instrumentos de medición y programas de aplicación. En conclusión, el FC genera un efecto positivo de las propuestas a nivel académico y motivacional para la formación de profesionales en las ciencias fácticas. Se propone cuatro futuras líneas de investigación para este modelo.
El desarrollo de la competencia de escritura académica en estudiantes de educación superior ha presentado numerosas dificultades durante la educación virtual debido a la escaza aplicaciónde metodologías emergentes. Es por ello, que la presente investigación tiene como objetivo evaluar la efectividad de la metodologíaFlipped Classroom(FC)virtual en el desarrollo de competencias de escritura académica desde la perspectiva del estudiante.El enfoque del estudio es cuantitativo, con diseño cuasiexperimental (con pre y postest en dos grupos)y análisis descriptivo-inferencial. Seaplicó elcuestionario de “Autopercepción de Competencias para EscribirTrabajos Académicos” a 113 estudiantes universitarios de primer ciclo de distintas disciplinas (grupo experimental=57; grupo control=56) seleccionadosde manera no probabilística intencional. Los resultados evidencianque el grupo experimentalincrementa el nivel de escritura alto de12.28%a 66.67%mientras que el grupo controlpasó de 16.07%a 44.64%. Estas diferencias son significativas y de mediana magnitud (p < .05; Δ2> .50), lo mismo sucede con las dimensiones de revisión bibliográfica, conocimiento básico de escritura científica, importancia de investigación, aptitudes lingüísticas y normativas de citas y referencias. La comparacióncon estudios precedentes demuestraque la metodología FC esefectiva para mejorar la escritura académica en el contexto universitario
