The book is extremely well written and includes a moderate bibliography and a n excellent index. It is very readable, and almost all of the chapters are very well written. There are numerous illustrations and the quality of these is excellent. Most of the surgical procedures are well diagrammed and heavily illustrated with case examples. All of the illustrations are black and white, but are of good quality. While some sections may not be quite a s up-to-date a s would be optimal,, all chapters are written by people with experience and expertise. Both common and uncommon lesions and situations are discussed in full detail. This is not a text to be read lightly but is one which must be studied. :It is an excellent reference text and a must for any surgeon performing plastic surgery on infants and children.
