Este trabalho baseia-se em etnografia realizada junto a terapeutas da vertente denominada análise bioenergética e busca contribuir no debate sobre as terapias corporais, que vêm se expandindo nas últimas décadas, consolidando um mercado profissional (TAVARES, 2012) e sendo absorvidas pela Política Nacional de Práticas Integrativas e Complementares (PNPIC) que oferece as terapêuticas no SUS. Em um primeiro momento, apresenta-se breve discussão acerca da relação entre as terapias corporais, o complexo alternativo e a Nova Era para, em seguida, reexaminar a dicotomia corpo-mente e a noção de subjetividade na sociedade contemporânea com base na análise etnográfica da terapêutica. Por fim, faz-se breve digressão acerca do processo de aprendizagem do ofício de terapeuta em bioenergética. Palavras-chave: Terapias Corporais. Corpo. Corpo-mente. Subjetividade
