SummaryThis paper describes a TLC-densitometric procedure for identification and determination of bisoprolol, labetalol, and propafenone in pharmaceutical preparations. The compounds were derivatized with dabsyl chloride and chromatographed on silica gel by ascending development. The separation of the dabsylated drugs was followed by densitometric quantitation. The method was satisfactorily applied to pharmaceutical preparations. The RSD of quantitation was between 1.6 and 2.3 %.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
