Üçüncü yaş turistlerin turizm pazarındaki payı giderek artmaktadır. Bu çalışmada üçüncü yaş turistleri İstanbul'a seyahat etmeye yönlendiren itici ve çekici faktörlerin belirlenmesi ve seyahat motivasyonları ile seyahat memnuniyetleri arasındaki ilişkinin tespit edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda 404 yerli ve 437 yabancı turist olmak üzere toplam 841 katılımcıya anket uygulaması gerçekleştirilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler aritmetik ortalama T testi ve ANOVA testi kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucuna göre yerli ve yabancı üçüncü yaş turistleri İstanbul'a seyahat etmeye iten en önemli itici faktör bilgi edinmek; İstanbul'u tercih etmelerinde etkili olan en önemli çekici faktör ise tarihi ve arkeolojik çekiciliklere sahip olmasıdır. Ayrıca üçüncü yaş turistlerin seyahat motivasyonları ile seyahat memnuniyetleri arasında pozitif yönlü anlamlı bir ilişki tespit edilmiştir.
Burnout is a syndrome that affects both individual performance and organizational performance negatively in working life. Employees who experience burnout syndrome show negative behaviors in their responsibilities attributed to them and their attitudes towards customers. Burnout syndrome, which has a direct affect on internal motivation in particular; as well as on other structural factors such as team and group motivation, employee's commitment to work and the organization, absence, tardiness, slacking and intention of leaving work as well as decision of leaving work, is one of the primary issues that managers must resolve in order to ensure positive performance. The aim of the study is to determine the relationship between perceived management style and burnout level of Hotel employees. In this context, the survey was conducted to 411 hotel employees who work 4 and 5 star hotel in Çanakkale. As a result of the study, perceived democratic and paternalist management styles decrease the burnout level of hotel employees, authoritarian and laissez-faire management styles increase the hotel employees' burnout level. Hotels should show care to psychological conditions of their staff to ensure their high motivational level, job satisfaction, increased organizational commitment and productivity. A positive management style should be demonstrated in order to minimize burnout levels. This research has been conducted on the hotel staff who work in four and five-star hotels in Çanakkale. This research will be significant for enabling individuals and organizations to carry out in-depth research and to offer a possibility to make a comparison between the future research to be made in different hotels and cities which this research did not include. The effect of the burnout levels on the hotel staff such as conflict management style, and a participative management style which this research also did not include could be within the scope of the future research.
