Chronic Rhinosinusitis (CRS) is an inflammation of nasal mucose dan paranasal sinuses with ≥ two symptoms, one of which should be nasal blockage/ obstruction or nasal discharge (anterior/ posterior nasal drip) that happened for ≥ 12 Weeks. CRS affects 5-15% adult population in Europe and the United States of America, with a prevalence of 2-4% that doctors have diagnosed. The risk factors of CRS that quite often happened on CRS is allergic rhinitis. CRS also often happened in women. CRS also impact the patient's quality of life. This study aims to know the prevalence and risk factor of CRS and the impact on quality of life on 160 students of the Medical Faculty Christian University of Indonesia uses a validated questionnaire and SNOT-22 questionnaire. This study uses a descriptive method with a cross-sectional approach. The results of CRS prevalence in this study are 71 students (44,4%), with a gender distribution are 52 students (53,2%). The correlation of allergic history suspect with CRS is proven by a statistic test using chi-square with results P=0,003 (P>0,05) with a majority of the distribution is allergic rhinitis are 60 students (90,1%). All respondents answered that CRS impacts their quality of life with most of the symptoms: nasal blockage/ obstruction and 36 students (57,7%). Chronic Suppurative Otitis Media (CSOM) Tubotympanic Type is a CSOM without cholesteatoma, limited to the mucosa, and seldom causes complications. According to WHO, the incidence of the CSOM is estimated to be 65 – 330 million worldwide. Prevalence CSOM in Indonesia is 3,9%. According to a survey conducted in 7 provinces in 1996 in Indonesia, most middle ears morbidity is CSOM, especially the CSOM benign type 3%. This study's objective was to identify Profile Benign Type of CSOM at the General Hospital of the Christian University of Indonesia. This study uses a descriptive method and retrospective cross-sectionals. Data retrieval using the secondary database on the patient's medical records. The sample obtained is 60 patients with a total sampling from January 2017 – December 2018. Based on the research result, the highest proportion based on gender is female 33 people (55 %). Based on age, mainly in 55-59 years ten people (16,7 %). Based on the infected ear is right ear 35 people (58,3 %) and based on clinical symptoms, is otorrhea by 46 people (76,7%). Based on risk factor was that there were 53 people (88,3 %) and history of otitis media. Based on the tympanic membrane's perforation, which is a central perforation of 57 people (95 %).

(LPR) is a condition in which gastric content to the and reaches larynx and pharynx so that mucous membranes of the larynx, pharynx, and other respiratory organs are inflamed. The symptoms of LPR can affect daily activities, resulting in a decrease in the quality of life (QOL) of the patients. Proton Pump Inhibitor (PPI) is the main therapy for patients with LPR. PPI can improve the symptoms experienced by patients with LPR. The objective of this research is to determine the QOL of patients with LPR after receiving PPI. This research's method is quasi-experimental studies using and post-test design from January 2021 to February 2021, in 18 patients were assessed for QOL scores using RSI. Each patient was administered 30 mg twice daily before meals for 14 days. Two times of observations are done, before therapy and 14 days after therapy. Data analysis using paired sample T-test. The result is that there is a significant improvement in QOL of patients with LPR on RSI scores after 14 days of administration of 30 mg. (p<0,05). It is concluded that PPI significantly improved the QOL of patients with LPR.

AbstrakFraktur pada wajah dapat menyebabkan defisit fungsional dan estetika jika tidak ditangani dengan baik. Tatalaksana akut yang tepat dari fraktur wajah harus didasarkan pada evaluasi cepat dan menyeluruh. Keberhasilan rekontruksi wajah merupakan keadaan darurat yang perlu dievaluasi dalam waktu 24 jam dari trauma. Berbagai jenis reduksi dan fiksasi tergantung pada fungsi, lokasi, jenis fraktur, dan usia pasien. Kasus ini diajukan untuk memperlihatkan keberhasilan tatalaksana trauma akut maksilofasial. Dilaporkan seorang laki-laki 37 tahun dengan panfasial fraktur yang dilakukan reduksi dan fiksasi 3 hari setelah trauma dengan pemasangan plat dan sekrup, serta fiksasi mukoginggival kombinasi antara arch bardan quickfix. Reduksi, reposisi dan fiksasi dilakukan setelah edema mukosa hebat disertai kombinasi antara arch bar dan quickfix pada mukoginggival merupakan salah satu alternatif untuk mengurangi risiko perdarahan dan memudahkan reposisi.Kata kunci: fraktur wajah, panfasial fraktur,edema mukosa.Management of Maxillofacial Traumawith Panfacial FractureAbstractFacial fractures can cause functional and aesthetic deficits if not treated properly. Appropriate acute management of facial fractures should be based on a rapid and thorough evaluation. Successful facial reconstruction is an emergency that needs to be evaluated within 24 hours of trauma. Different types of reduction and fixation depend on the function, location, type of fracture, and the age of the patient. This case is presented to demonstrate the success of acute maxillofacial trauma management. Reported a 37-year-old man with a facial fracture who underwent reduction and fixation 3 days after trauma with plate and screw installation, and combination mucogingival fixation between arch bar and quickfix. Reduction, reposition and fixation performed after severe mucosal edema accompanied by a combination of arch bar and quickfix on the mucogingival is an alternative to reduce the risk of bleeding and facilitate repositioning.Keywords: facial fracture, panfacial fracture, mucosal edema.

Nowadays communication device usage has already reached an unprecedented level. Based on data provided by Central Statistics Agency (BPS), by 2018, at least 62% of Indonesian had a cellphone or a smartphone, and 20% had a computer. Besides smartphones and computers, many Indonesians choose television (TV) as their entertainment device, as proven by 57% of Indonesian households having a TV, although the number has been reduced in the past decade. Based on research conducted by Zickuhr, in 2011, average adults in the United States spent 7-10 hours using their communication device per day, with the most usage in the young adult population (18-35 years) and decreasing as the age increased. The recent development of computer-based communication devices increased our chances of spending much time staring at the blue light emitting screen. Research about the blue light emission effect has become a significant concern, especially in the last five years. It is due to its effect on sleep quality and eyes well-being. This research is an analytic descriptive, non-experiment cross-sectional study. The research uses a prospective and retrospective approach due to the type of data is primary data collected using a questionnaire distributed through social media. Based on Slovin's formula, the sample needed for this study is 133 respondents. This study showed a significant correlation between the usage of blue light-emitting communication devices, sleep quality (P = 0.000), and a moderate relation (r = 0.425) with the positive pattern.
