Uso do Jogo Plague Inc.: uma possibilidade para o Ensino de Ciências em tempos da COVID-19 Use of the Pest Game Inc.: a possibility for Science Education in the days of COVID-19
RESUMOO artigo descreve um relato de experiência relacionado à implantação do método sala de aula invertida na disciplina de Química II, no Instituto Federal do Acre -Campus Cruzeiro do Sul. O conteúdo explorado foi Unidades de Concentração/Concentração Comum, tendo como ferramenta de pesquisa um rótulo de embalagens alimentícias. A atividade foi iniciada a partir da disponibilização de um roteiro de estudos/sequências de ações de aprendizagem nos grupos de Whatsapp, e-mails, sendo o Classrrom o ambiente virtual como sala de aula e receptor dos materiais de apoio aos estudos. A necessidade da utilização de metodologias diferenciadas, a Sala de Aula Invertida, baseia-se no contexto atual, ou seja, o isolamento em tempos de pandemia e a diminuição ou paralisação da rotina de aprendizagem. A metodologia utilizada, configurou-se em uma ferramenta viável para potencializar e dar continuidade na rotina de estudos de maneira que ficou evidenciado a participação dos estudantes em todas as ações propostas. A aprendizagem no conteúdo proposto, ficou notório com a conclusão do estudo dirigido acerca da importância do rótulo no cotidiano do aluno e nos cálculos desenvolvidos, a partir dos dados retirados na embalagem escolhida pelo estudante. Fica evidenciado, portanto, que a metodologia aplicada, proporcionou ao estudante a possibilidade de ser o centro na construção do conhecimento e ao professor de contribuir através do papel de mediador e orientador da aprendizagem.
As aulas experimentais surgem como uma estratégia eficiente devido ao seu caráter motivador. Em um curso preparatório para Exames e Vestibulares, destaca-se o ensino de uma gama de conteúdos em pouco tempo. Nesse contexto, este trabalho visa investigar as contribuições e as limitações da utilização da experimentação em aulas de Química de um curso pré-vestibular em Rio Branco/Acre. Com abordagem metodológica de pesquisa qualitativa do tipo exploratória, utilizou-se, na produção dos dados, um questionário semiestruturado, aplicado após 17 encontros, sendo que em cada encontro foram realizados diferentes experimentos demonstrativos. Os resultados indicam que a utilização da experimentação contribui para motivar e incentivar a participação dos alunos na aula e que estes justificam essa importância por considerarem que a explicação fica mais clara. Contudo, no que se refere às limitações, os discentes apontam pouca carga horária e espaço não adequado, afirmando não ser uma modalidade de ensino tradicionalmente esperada em cursinhos preparatórios.
Com enfoque nas aulas de química, a presença de jogos didáticos pode promover uma maior interação entre alunos e conteúdos, já que abordam conceitos científicos ao mesmo tempo em que os relaciona a diferentes temas do cotidiano social. Nesse sentido, o objetivo desta pesquisa consiste em relatar a experiência vivenciada ao adaptar um jogo já conhecido e aplicá-lo como ferramenta auxiliar para o ensino do conteúdo de Eletroquímica. A pesquisa se desenvolveu na escola da rede pública Tancredo de Almeida Neves, localizada no município de Rio Branco, no Estado do Acre, com estudantes do 3º ano do ensino médio, durante a realização de uma sequência de três aulas. A análise dos dados indicou que os alunos conseguiram compreender os conceitos abordados mediante a utilização do jogo e da experimentação que foram realizadas. A participação dos alunos foi evidente, eles trabalharam em equipe, compartilhando respostas e ajudando os colegas que sorteavam as perguntas. Dessa forma, acredita-se que cabe ao professor implementar, sempre que possível, ferramentas de ensino que proporcionem um processo de ensino aprendizagem dinâmico e interativo.
