El volumen Cultura y patrimonio nacional. Los estudios de Folklore en la Universidad de Buenos Aires (2020) es el resultado del proyecto UBACyT “El área de estudios de folklore. Su institucionalización en la Universidad de Buenos Aires” (2014-2017) y es parte de la colección editorial “Historia y Memoria de la Universidad de Buenos Aires”. A lo largo de los siete capítulos que lo componen, se historiza el área de estudios de Folklore en la Universidad de Buenos Aires (y en otros institutos ligados a la misma) dando cuenta de cómo la disciplina articuló intereses y preocupaciones sobre el patrimonio cultural de la nación con proyecciones y transformaciones en el sentido social de las ciencias antropológicas.
En este trabajo voy a analizar las disputas que se generan en la organización de la actividad cultural del Parque Avellaneda, situado en la Comuna 9 de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires. Las políticas públicas vigentes estipulan la co-participación de agrupaciones vecinales, colectivos artísticos e instituciones estatales en la gestión de dicho espacio: sin embargo esa co-gestión presenta numerosas tensiones. Guiándome a través de la literatura gestada en el marco de las ciencias antropológicas acerca de los usos políticos de la cultura y del patrimonio, así como de estudios sobre problemáticas urbanas, trataré de reconstruir cómo los colectivos artísticos junto con las agrupaciones vecinales y barriales revalorizaron el Parque Avellaneda, y de qué manera utilizan estratégicamente las políticas públicas obtenidas luego de esta recuperación como recurso para incidir en la agenda pública y reafirmar su derecho a habitar este territorio.
Este artículo se propone indagar las dimensiones político-afectivas en torno al trabajo artístico del grupo de teatro callejero La Runfla, referente de este lenguaje artístico en la ciudad de Buenos Aires y heredero de tradiciones teatrales que conjugaban la práctica artística con la militancia política. Estas dimensiones político-afectivas tensionan y ponen en evidencia cuestiones irresueltas en el campo del trabajo artístico, a la vez que apelan a sentidos diversos acerca del rol político de las artes. El estudio se enmarca en una más amplia investigación en el marco de las ciencias antropológicas, basada en un trabajo de campo etnográfico inmersivo y colaborativo que se nutre de constantes intercambios e instancias de co-teorización con los sujetos implicados. Apostando al uso de la afectividad como herramienta de análisis, se trabajará con testimonios de actores y actrices del grupo La Runfla para mostrar las formas a través de las cuales se pone en juego la subjetividad en el marco de la experiencia de participación a los proyectos artísticos del grupo, cómo son narradas estas experiencias en el marco del espacio biográfico de sus protagonistas y cómo estas narraciones contribuyen a la construcción de determinados posicionamientos político-ideológicos acerca del trabajo artístico en el teatro callejero.
En este artículo queremos presentar algunas reflexiones acerca del teatro callejero de grupos en la ciudad de Buenos Aires en la actualidad. Se trazarán algunas líneas teórico-metodológicas para abordar la noción de popular en el ámbito teatral, atingiendo a la fuente de los estudios culturales, teatrales y antropológicos, para poder analizar en un segundo momento algunas narrativas de los protagonistas de este lenguaje teatral. Asimismo, se presentará brevemente la historia de un grupo en particular, elegido como referente en la ciudad de Buenos Aires: el grupo La Runfla, activo desde el año 1991, cuyas actividades artísticas se concentran en el Parque Avellaneda y contribuyeron a la recuperación de este espacio público.
