El objetivo de este artículo es comprender cómo la Economía Social y Solidaria (ESS) y la Agroecología pueden contribuir a la sostenibilidad económica, social, ecológica y política de la agricultura familiar en Brasil. Para ello, se expondrán sus dimensiones y las diferentes formas de obtener la viabilidad de determinadas explotaciones familiares. Como metodología de investigación se ha empleado el uso de indicadores de sostenibilidad creados por los autores para realizar los análisis de las experiencias de cooperativas de agricultores familiares en Brasil. Las cooperativas seleccionadas fueron las pertenecientes a la Asociación de Agricultores Ipê y Antonio Prado (AECIA) en la ciudad de Antonio Prado localizada en el estado de Rio Grande do Sul (Brasil) y la Cooperativa IRITUIA en la ciudad de Irituia en el estado de Pará (Brasil) como locus de la investigación. Los resultados de la investigación apuntan a que existen diferencias entre las cooperativas estudiadas en cuanto a la viabilidad productiva, social, política y económica tanto desde la ESS como desde la Agroecología, de manera que AECIA ofrece mejores valores en todos los atributos estudiados frente a la Cooperativa de Irituia.
Resumo: Este trabalho busca, de forma preliminar, apresentar os resultados de pesquisa realizada como parte do curso de mestrado do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Agroecologia e Desenvolvimento Rural -PPGADR da Universidade Federal de São Carlos -UFSCar. Neste estudo, objetivou-se analisar os diferentes processos de comercialização e organização em agricultura ecológica existentes no Rio Grande do Sul em relação à concepção de organização de seus produtores e às formas de comercialização utilizadas. Para desenvolver o presente trabalho, será utilizado um estudo de caso, tendo como objeto duas experiências no Rio Grande do Sul. As experiências escolhidas foram a Associação Agricultores Ecologistas de Ipê e Antonio Prado (Ipê e Antonio Prado) e o Centro de Apoio ao Pequeno Agricultor (Santa Cruz do Sul). Realizou-se a análise socioeconômica destas experiências, observando-se de que forma as suas formas de organização e comercialização influenciam nos resultados alcançados.
O intuito do artigo é compreender como a Economia Social Solidaria (ESS) pode contribuir para a sustentabilidade económica, social, ecológica e política da agricultura familiar no Brasil. Para isso, serão expostas suas dimensões neste e as formas de se obter a viabilizar. Como metodologia foi realizado uma pesquisa de enfoque qualitativa com o uso do método de estudo de caso feito através de observação participante, entrevistas semiestruturadas abertas, reuniões e conversas e pesquisa em documentação de pesquisas já realizadas nas experiências. Foram escolhidas como focus para este estudo de caso as experiencias da COOPAECIA e do Grupo e Agroecologia ECONORTE ambas localizadas no Rio Grande do Sul. Os resultados apontam que existe entre elas diferenças quanto a viabilidade produtiva ecológica em que a COOPAECIA apresenta melhores resultados. Quanto a viabilidade social e política ambas apresentam excelentes resultados. A viabilidade econômica em ambas se dá tanto na eleição dos canais de comercialização, comercio justo e partição em redes soma-se a isso na ECONORTE a questão do consumo consciente. Como conclusão a adoção da Economia Social Solidaria é uma das razoes para que ambas as experiencias demonstrem ter viabilidade produtiva ecológica, económica, social e política.
El siguiente trabajo pretende explorar las relaciones que se dan entre la Agroecología y la perspectiva de los Nuevos comunes. Aplicamos una propuesta de sistematización cualitativa y cuantitativa (sobre la base de indicadores) a cuatro experiencias en Brasil de comercialización a través de circuitos cortos, comercio justo o certificación ecológica.
