RESUMO Analisa-se um processo socioeducativo com crianças em situação de acolhimento social, mediada pela capoeira, com foco no desenvolvimento da cidadania reclamada. Trata-se de uma pesquisa-ação, desenvolvida com 10 crianças acolhidas pela Casa Lar de Serra/ES, em que, no período de julho a dezembro de 2021, ocorreram 46 encontros. As experiências vivenciadas valorizaram as práticas autorais e a coparticipação das crianças na construção das mediações pedagógicas com a capoeira, fomentando, dessa maneira, um modelo de cidadania em que os sujeitos assumem os discursos e as práticas sobre si.
Analisa os usos e as apropriações que os praticantes poloneses fazem da capoeira. Trata-se de uma pesquisa descritivo-interpretativa, que utiliza como fontes o grupo focal, realizado com dez capoeiristas poloneses, e a observação participante em um grupo de capoeira de Varsóvia. Verifica-se que está em curso um processo de apropriação e de ressignificação dessa manifestação cultural no país. Ao mesmo tempo em que a capoeira apresenta características singulares, provenientes das tradições locais e das particularidades dos sujeitos que as consomem, aspectos culturais contidos em sua bagagem motora e simbólica também impactam na forma de pensar e agir dos poloneses, configurando um movimento de circularidade cultural. Os poloneses se orgulham da capoeira construída nas últimas três décadas no país, que geram representações identitárias entre eles, articulando aspectos da cultura local com as tradições dessa manifestação afro-brasileira.
O estudo tem como objetivo analisar o consumo produtivo que praticantes argentinos fazem da capoeira. Interessa-nos compreender as figuras do aprender que eles valorizam nas relações que estabelecem com esse patrimônio imaterial da cultura brasileira. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa de caráter descritivo-interpretativo que tem como fonte um grupo focal com seis capoeiristas argentinos. Os dados sinalizam que, na relação com a capoeira, os argentinos valorizam, para além da prática, figuras do aprender associadas às dimensões relacionais e conceituais dessa manifestação cultural. Embora haja o interesse pela preservação das tradições e dos rituais da capoeira, o consumo produtivo que os participantes argentinos dela fazem denota apropriação autoral, marcada pelo contexto sociocultural em que estão inseridos e por questões de ordem pessoal.
Este artigo trata da análise das diretrizes oficiais produzidas em convenções, encontros e seminários temáticos que versam sobre a valorização e o apoio às culturas populares na América Latina entre 2000 e 2017. Para a realização desse estudo examinou-se documentos oficiais relativos às temáticas da diversidade cultural e da cultura popular, produzidos pela Unesco e, a Carta Sul-Americana de Culturas Populares. Em seguida, realizou-se levantamento e catalogação de jogos, lutas, danças, cantos etc., tipificadas como culturas populares na Argentina, Bolívia, Brasil, Chile, Colômbia, Cuba, Equador, Guatemala, México, Peru, Uruguai e Venezuela. Com base nesses dados e análise de conteúdo, problematizou-se acerca da relação entre as diretrizes oficiais, os patrimônios culturais nacionais e os processos de formação profissional com valorização das manifestações culturais populares. Como resultado destaca-se que, apesar de as diretrizes oficiais de proteção e defesa de culturas populares se constituírem como conquistas de movimentos que lutam em defesa dessas expressões, do ponto de vista operacional, isso não se efetiva. Além disso, identificou-se que as diretrizes oficiais são ineficazes diante dos contextos de invisibilização dessas práticas nos currículos de formação profissional e, da ausência de políticas públicas que assegurem paridade na proteção e no reconhecimento dessas expressões.
