Objetivo: analisar os sentimentos vivenciados pelos acadêmicos no último semestre da graduação em Enfermagem, durante o estágio com supervisão indireta. Metodologia: estudo qualitativo, realizado com 27 alunos, que responderam a uma entrevista semiestruturada. Resultados: os alunos vivenciam dificuldades diversas durante o estágio, que geram sofrimento e desgaste, relatando hostilidade de profissionais e supervisores, e muitas vezes essas situações não são relatadas aos professores e coordenação. O conhecimento adquirido durante o estágio indireto é imensurável, e inclusive as situações negativas são vistas como fonte de aprendizado. Conclusão: é necessário fortalecer o vínculo entre Universidade e campos de estágio, investindo em ações que melhorem a relação entre professores, alunos e trabalhadores de saúde.Descritores: Educação em Enfermagem, Estágio, Estudantes de Enfermagem.Objective: to analyze the feelings experienced by the students during the last semester of Nursing graduation during the internship with indirect supervision. Objective: To analyze the vulnerability of non-institutionalized elderly persons. Method: A cross-sectional, descriptive and analytical study was carried out using data of the City Health Department of Palmas, Paraná, Brazil, and the Vulnerable Elders Survey (VES-13) instrument. The questionnaires of people aged over 60 years who had answered the VES-13 questionnaire between January 2016 and December 2017 were included. The quantitative data were analyzed by the Student’s T-Test and the categorical data by the Chi-square and Fisher’s Exact Test. The correlation between the quantitative variables was performed by the Pearson correlation coefficient. Results: A total of 1,062 questionnaires were analyzed, of which 57.3% were female, with a mean age 69 (±7.8) years. In total 427 individuals (40.2%) were vulnerable and 635 (59.8%) were not vulnerable according to VES-13 score. A total of 635 (59.8%) elderly persons were classified as robust, 176 (16.6%) as at risk of frailty and 251 (23.6%) as frail. Women and those over 75 years were more vulnerable (p<0.001). Conclusion: Vulnerability was related to the female sex, age over 75 years and the presence of chronic diseases, with these being the priority groups for the elaboration of intervention strategies in the health of the elderly.
RESUMO: Objetivou-se analisar o aspecto nutricional de pacientes oncológicos em atendimento ambulatorial, em Joaçaba-SC. Estudo transversal, que utilizou a avaliação subjetiva global produzida pelo paciente e questionário de consumo alimentar, do Ministério da Saúde. Participaram 70 pacientes, idade média 60,3±13,9 anos, 38 (54,3%) homens, 57 (81,4%) sem acompanhamento nutricional, 48 (68,6%) com alimentação regular, 16 (22,9%) alimentação adequada e seis (8,6%) boa alimentação. O fumo teve associação com câncer de pulmão e orofaringe e o consumo de carne com câncer de intestino. A redução de peso foi elevada, 36 (52,2%) reduziram mais de 5% do peso corporal. Pessoas bem nutridas reduziram menos o peso comparado às desnutridas, tiveram melhor aceitação da dieta e menos queixas alimentares. Desnutridos totalizaram 58 indivíduos (83%), todos em estágio avançado da doença. A desnutrição teve elevada prevalência neste estudo, devendo ser implantadas estratégias de acompanhamento eficazes com equipe multiprofissional para melhorar o tratamento nutricional desta população. AVALIAÇÃO NUTRICIONAL DE PACIENTES COM CÂNCER EM ATENDIMENTO AMBULATORIAL NUTRITIONAL ASSESSMENT OF CANCER PATIENTS IN OUTPATIENT CARE ABSTRACT:The objective was to analyze the nutritional aspect of cancer patients in outpatient care in Joaçaba-SC. Cross-sectional study using global subjective assessment by the patient and the food consumption questionnaire of the Brazilian Health Department. Seventy patients participated with a mean age of 60.3±13.9 years, 38 (54.3%) men, 57 (81.4%) without nutritional monitoring, 48 (68.6%) with a regular diet, 16 (22.9%) appropriate diet and (8.6%) good diet. Smoking was associated with lung and oropharyngeal cancer and meat consumption with bowel cancer. The weight reduction was high, as 36 (52.2%) lost more than 5% of their body weight. Well-nourished people lost less weight when compared to malnourished individuals, accepted the diet better and had less food complaints. In total, 58 individuals (83%) were malnourished, all of them in the advanced stage of the disease. The prevalence of malnourishment was high in this study. Effective monitoring strategies need to be implemented with a multiprofessional team to improve the nutritional treatment in this population. Introduction: Stress can lead to negative health consequences, like stress and burnout. Objective: this study analyses the overall level of stress, the main stressors sources, and presence of Burnout syndrome. Materials and methods: cross-sectional study, with professionals of a family health strategy of Santa Catarina, Brazil, using the instruments Maslach Burnout Inventory and the Stress Questionnaire for Health Professionals. Results: 38 professionals participated, data show that 34% are very stressed, 61% with moderate stress and 5% with little stress. The career and remuneration were the most relevant stressors, followed by dealing with customers. The favoritism and/or discrimination at work were considered by 84% professionals as the greater generating source of stress and pressure. Results revealed that 34.2% have burnout and 8% are with high stress. Conclusion: Considering the number of professionals affected by stress and burnout, emphasized the importance of the implementation of preventive activities that improve the well-being at work and reinforces the need for psychological monitoring to those professionals.
