This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of multimedia-based learning on the academic achievement of science subjects in junior high school students. The method used in this research is descriptive. This study involved 40 junior high school students in Malaysia. The research sample was divided into two groups, namely conventional (control) and experimental (based on multimedia). Data obtained by providing pre-test and post-test to students. Data collected were analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics. A normality test is performed to determine the distribution of data. Data were analysed with a 5% T-test. The results of the analysis on the pre-test scores indicate that students in conventional and experimental teaching have the same level of knowledge, whereas in the post-test scores there are significant differences between traditional teaching scores and multimedia teaching. The finding of this study also showed that the student-centered learning approach was suitable for learning science subjects for secondary education. Students were found more active in engaging themselves in their learning and contribute to higher academic achievement in the post-test result. In conclusion, the use of multimedia elements in learning materials enables students to learn at their own pace. Through learning with the integration of multimedia-mediated content, student achievement in science subjects is enhanced, and it has helped students to develop a better understanding of science concepts and ideas.
This research aims to prove: 1) relationship between cardiorespiratory fitness with movement coordination learning ability, 2) relationship between cardiorespiratory fitness with fatigue level, and 3) relationship between cardiorespiratory fitness and fatigue level on learning ability of movement coordination. Samples were 30 students of Department of Sport Education determined by purposive sampling technique. To conduct the correlational research, the instruments included a Cardiorespiratory fitness measured by using Fitmate version 2.2, Wellness Technology a Division of Cosmed, also equipped with other supporting devices such as treadmills. Level of fatigue was measured by using the heart rate monitor of Polar brand and Stopwatch (BT Butterfly 60 Japan) while movement coordination learning ability measured by using Drawing Mirror Tracer Test. Using multiple regression analysis, it is concluded that: firstly, there is significant relationship between cardiorespiratory fitness and learning ability of movement coordination. Secondly, there is significant relationship between the level of fatigue and the learning ability of movement coordination. Thirdly, there is significant relationship between cardio respiratory fitness and level of fatigue in the learning ability of movement coordination.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan: 1) hubungan antara kebugaran kardiorespirasi terhadap kemampuan belajar koordinasi gerak, 2) hubungan antara tingkat kelelahan terhadap kemampuan belajar koordinasi gerak, dan 3) hubungan antara kebugaran kardiorespirasi dan tingkat kelelahan terhadap kemampuan belajar koordinasi gerak. Sampel adalah 30 mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Olahraga ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Untuk melaksanakan penelitian korelasional ini, instrumen yang digunakan antara lain: Kebugaran kardiorespirasi diukur dengan menggunakan Fitmate version 2.2, Wellness Technology a Division of Cosmed, juga dilengkapi alat pendukung lainnya seperti treadmill. Tingkat kelelahan, diukur dengan menggunakan heart rate monitor merek Polar dan Stop watch (Butterfly BT 60 Japan) sedangkan kemampuan belajar koordinasi gerak diukur dengan menggunakan Drawing Mirror Tracer Test. Dengan analisis regresi berganda, disimpulkan bahwa: pertama, terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kebugaran kardiorespirasi terhadap kemampuan belajar koordinasi gerak. Kedua, terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat kelelahan terhadap kemampuan belajar koordinasi gerak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat mahasiswa Pendidikan Olahraga Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta saat Pandemi Covid-19. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survey dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket dan pengambilan data menggunakan aplikasi google form. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Olahraga angkatan 2016-2019. Penentuan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Berdasarkan kriteria yang ditentukan maka dihasilkan sampel dengan jumlah 425 mahasiswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan persentase. Simpulan penelitian ini dinyatakan bahwa perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Olahraga UNY saat pandemi Covid-19 pada kategori sangat tinggi terdapat 33 mahasiswa (7,76%), kategori tinggi terdapat 79 mahasiswa (18,59%), kategori cukup terdapat 126 mahasiswa (29,65%), kategori rendah terdapat 89 mahasiswa (20,94), dan kategori sangat rendah terdapat 98 mahasiswa (23,06%). Clean and healthy life behavior of Yogyakarta State University sports education students during the Covid-19 pandemic AbstractThis study aims to analyze the level of clean and healthy living habits of students majoring in Sports Education, Yogyakarta State University during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The method used in this research is a survey with quantitative descriptive research type. The instrument used was a questionnaire and data collection using the google form application. The study population was students of the Department of Sports Education, class 2016-2019. Determination of the sample using purposive sampling. Based on the specified criteria, a sample of 425 students was generated. Data analysis techniques using percentages. The conclusion of this study stated that the clean and healthy lifestyle of the students of the Department of Sports Education at YSU during the Covid-19 pandemic in the very high category there were 33 students (7.76%), in the high category there were 79 students (18.59%), there were 126 sufficient categories. students (29.65%), in the low category there were 89 students (20.94), and in the very low category, there were 98 students (23.06%).
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesadaran Mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta Terhadap Kesehatan Lingkungan Kampus. Terciptanya mahasiswa yang sehat, mandiri dan berkemampuan akan menjadi kebanggaan tersendiri saat mereka berhasil mengaplikasikan kesehatanlingkungan dengan baik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang akan mendeskripsikan atau menggambarkan suatu keadaan khususnya tentang tingkat kesadaran mahasiswa Fakultas ilmu Keolahragaan Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta terhadap Kesehatan Lingkungan Kampus. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei dengan menggunakan instrumen angket. Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Teknik penentuan sampel menggunakanrandom sampling sejumlah 462. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif yang dituangkan dalam bentuk persentase. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kesadaran mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu keolahragaan terhadap kesehatan lingkungan kampus adalah sebanyak 129 mahasiswa (27,92 %) dengan kategori sangat baik, 309 mahasiswa (66,88 %) dengan kategori baik, dan 24 mahasiswa (5,20 %) dengan kategori sedang, 0 mahasiswa (0,00%) dengan kategori kurang, dan 0 mahasiswa (0,00 %) dengan kategori sangat kurang.Kata Kunci: kesadaran mahasiswa, kesehatan lingkungan
concerns about social attitudes and healthy life behavior problems due to the increasing use of mobile phones are growing. Excessive use of mobile phones can affect the quality of health literature and social attitudes of people. Therefore, this study is to determine the effect of smartphones on social attitudes and healthy life on 165 students of sport Yogyakarta, Indonesia, in 2018. The research type is survey research. The type of data used is quantitative data. To find out the correlation between smartphone use, social attitudes, and healthy life behavior, the researchers performed regression method. The results of the regression analysis show that there is significant correlation between smartphone use with social attitudes and healthy life behavior. The smartphone use is related to social attitudes (r= .385, p= .000) and healthy life behavior (r= .384, p= .000). In conclusion, the results indicate that smartphone use affects social attitudes and healthy life behavior.
