Vienas veiksmingiausių staigios kūdikių mirties sindromo prevencijos būdų – saugus kūdikio miegas. Tyrimo tikslai. Išsiaiškinti tėvų turimas žinias apie staigios kūdikių mirties sindromą, palyginti, ar jos priklauso nuo tėvų amžiaus, išsilavinimo, gimdymo stacionaro, nustatyti, ar apie šį sindromą informuoja šeimos gydytojas. Tyrimo metodai. Atlikta elektroninė anketinė apklausa, į kurią įtraukti 2020 m. gimusių kūdikių tėvai, kurių kūdikių amžius – iki vienerių metų. Tyrimo rezultatai. Išanalizuotos 2 371 anketos: 87,1 proc. tėvų žino apie staigios kūdikių mirties sindromą, 12,4 proc. apie jį yra girdėję, o 0,4 proc. – visiškai nieko nežino. 67,7 proc. tėvų teigia, kad jiems stinga žinių apie staigios kūdikių mirties sindromą. 92,5 proc. tėvų atsakė, kad jų šeimos gydytojas neinformavo apie staigios kūdikių mirties sindromą. 6,6 proc. tėvų buvo netinkamai arba klaidingai suteikta informacija apie staigios kūdikių mirties sindromą. Aukštąjį universitetinį išsilavinimą turintys žmonės dažniau pasisako, kad žino, kas yra staigios kūdikių mirties sindromas (p < 0,001). Tėvų žinojimas, kas yra staigios kūdikių mirties sindromas, nepriklauso nuo ligoninės, kurioje gimė jų vaikas (p > 0,05). Tėvai mano, jog gauna per mažai informacijos apie staigios kūdikių mirties sindromą tiek po gimdymo ligoninėje, tiek ir iš šeimos gydytojo.
Maždaug vienas iš 20 žmonių Europoje ir Šiaurės Amerikoje serga autoimunine liga. Nors kai kurias autoimunines ligas sąlygoja genetiniai veiksniai, tačiau gerai žinomi ir aplinkos veiksniai, iš kurių vienas dažniausių – infekcijos. Vakcinos yra vienas veiksmingiausių žinomų būdų, siekiant išvengti tam tikrų infekcijų. Tyrimo tikslas. Apžvelgti naujausias autoimuninėmis ligomis sergančių pacientų (suaugusiųjų ir vaikų) vakcinacijos rekomendacijas. Apžvelgiamos gyvų susilpnintų, negyvų ir vakcinų nuo SARS-CoV-2 rekomendacijos. Metodai. Mokslinių darbų paieška atlikta naudojant kompiuterinę bibliografinę mokslinių darbų bazę PubMed, taip pat remtasi naujausių konferencijų ir tarptautinių gairių duomenimis. Analizuoti publikuoti moksliniai tyrimai, straipsniai ir elektroninės knygos. Paieškose buvo vartojami reikšminiai žodžiai ir jų deriniai: autoimmune diseases, rheumatic diseases, vaccination, SARS-CoV-2 infection, immunosuppressive drug. Rezultatai. Pacientai, sergantys autoimuninėmis ligomis, turi didesnę riziką sirgti įvairiomis infekcinėmis ligomis. Jiems rekomenduojamos tiek negyvos, tiek gyvos susilpnintos vakcinos. Dėl imunosupresinių medikamentų vartojimo galimas prastesnis imuninis atsakas po vakcinacijos gyvomis susilpnintomis vakcinomis. Vakcinacija nuo SARS-CoV-2 yra rekomenduojama pacientams, sergantiems autoimuninėmis ligomis: suaugusiesiems ir vaikams nuo 12 metų amžiaus.
2019 m. pasaulyje prasidėjo SARS-CoV-2 viruso sukelta pandemija, kuri sukėlė daug iššūkių visai medikų bendruomenei. Augant COVID-19 infekcija persirgusių žmonių skaičiui, stebimi nauji su infekcija susiję liekamieji reiškiniai, kurie apibūdinami kaip pokovidinis sindromas. Vaikų amžiuje dėl negebėjimo apibūdinti, ką pacientas jaučia, šį sindromą įtarti ir diagnozuoti gali būti sudėtinga. Straipsnio tikslas – apžvelgti naujausius pokovidinio sindromo vaikų amžiuje literatūros duomenis. Metodika. Mokslinių darbų paieška atlikta naudojant kompiuterinę bibliografinę mokslinių darbų bazę „PubMed“, taip pat remtasi tarptautinių gairių ir oficialių organizacijų duomenimis. Analizuoti publikuoti moksliniai tyrimai ir straipsniai. Paieškose buvo vartojami reikšminiai žodžiai ir jų deriniai: long covid, post-covid conditions, covid infection in children. Rezultatai. Tiksli pokovidinio sindromo epidemiologija dar nežinoma, tačiau manoma, kad beveik pusė vaikų, persirgusių COVID-19 infekcija, jaučia ilgiau nei 12 savaičių išliekančius simptomus. Dažniausi aprašomi pokovidinio sindromo simptomai yra nuovargis ir dėmesio koncentracijos stygius, tačiau simptomų įvairovė didelė. Gydytojai ir pacientų tėvai turėtų atkreipti dėmesį į suprastėjusius vaiko pasiekimus, pasikeitusį elgesį, nuotaiką ir ieškoti kompetentingos pagalbos.
