Introdução: A doença renal crônica (DRC) é caracterizada pela diminuição da função renal com duração de três meses, ou mais. Mudanças psicossociais e biológicas relacionadas ao tratamento dialítico aumentam o risco de desenvolver depressão em pacientes com DRC, além de perda de qualidade de vida. Esse estudo tem como objetivo organizar as principais informações acerca da qualidade de vida e sintomas depressivos em pacientes com DRC em hemodiálise. Metodologia: Refere-se a uma revisão integrativa da literatura sobre qualidade de vida e depressão em pacientes renais crônicos submetidos à hemodiálise. A busca ocorreu em bases de dados confiáveis (PubMed, Scielo e Google Scholar), através das palavras-chave “hemodiálise”, “doença renal crônica”, “depressão” e “saúde mental”, combinadas entre si pelos operadores booleanos AND e OR. Resultados e discussão: Pacientes dialíticos tendem a ter pior qualidade de vida e maior prevalência de depressão e ansiedade. A abordagem a esses indivíduos deve ser multidisciplinar, tanto para a promoção de saúde física quanto mental, por terapia e exercícios físicos intradialíticos, realizados no próprio ambiente hospitalar. Considerações finais: Portanto, conclui-se que a hemodiálise afeta fisicamente e psicologicamente os pacientes, principalmente a longo prazo. Medidas de promoção de saúde devem ser implementadas com o intuito de promover qualidade de vida a esses indivíduos
Introdução: a maioria dos pacientes adultos com diabetes estão com sobrepeso ou obesidade, resultando na conotação de 'diabesidade'. Cirurgias bariátricas têm se mostrado o tratamento mais eficiente para obesidade e DM2. Diante do exposto, o estudo tem como objetivo agrupar os estudos mais recentes e esclarecer de forma direta e científica a relação entre a cirurgia bariátrica para o tratamento de diabetes mellitus tipo 2. Materiais e métodos: trata-se de uma revisão integrativa de literatura, em que foram pesquisados os termos “bariatric surgery”, “treatment” e “type 2 diabetes”, combinados entre si por operadores booleanos. Foram delimitados artigos publicados entre 2020 e 2022. Resultado e discussão: os perfis lipídicos e de glicose foram substancialmente melhorados após bypass gástrico em Y de Roux, incluindo diminuição do colesterol total, LDL, triglicerídeos, resistência à insulina e aumento do HDL. Porém, demonstra que a derivação biliopancreática sem switch duodenal parece ser a cirurgia mais eficaz para alcançar a remissão do diabetes a longo prazo em pacientes com obesidade e DM2. Conclusão: de acordo com os estudos que foram analisados, houve melhora dos níveis glicêmicos após realização de cirurgia bariátrica, principalmente em pacientes jovens. Há ainda a necessidade de estudos mais específicos para esclarecer qual técnica de cirurgia bariátrica beneficia mais o paciente, visto que os artigos atuais não entram em um consenso.
Introdução: A ruptura do ligamento cruzado anterior (LCA) é uma das lesões mais prevalentes e graves nos esportes com bola, principalmente no futebol, ocorrendo principalmente em situações em que não há contato. Diante do exposto, há necessidade de um estudo que busque informar melhor sobre as cirurgias de lesão do ligamento cruzado anterior em atletas de futebol. Sendo assim, o objetivo do estudo se dá por expor assunto de forma sólida, reunindo artigos de qualidade e atuais disponíveis na literatura nacional e internacional. Materiais e métodos: Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura. Após aplicação de todos os critérios de inclusão e exclusão, obteve-se uma amostra final de 6 artigos para a revisão integrativa. Resultado e discussão: É dito que a incidência de lesões de LCA é maior em atletas do sexo feminino quando comparada ao sexo masculino. Em relação à frouxidão residual no enxerto de LCA, estudos observaram que, à longo prazo, esse problema pode piorar o prognóstico dos pacientes, aumentando a chance de revisões cirúrgicas. Quanto ao retorno dos atletas ao futebol, observou-se que os jogadores que retornam ao esporte têm um risco significativamente maior de sofrer nova lesão no joelho. Conclusão: os artigos analisados sugeriram que o tratamento cirúrgico foi altamente resolutivo no caso de lesões de LCA.

Introdução: A síndrome de Takotsubo (ST) é uma síndrome cardíaca aguda caracterizada por anormalidades típicas da movimentação da parede regional que refletem o comprometimento da contratilidade cardíaca que leva à insuficiência cardíaca aguda na ausência de doença arterial coronariana epicárdica. A etiologia exata não é conhecida, porém, nota-se uma aparente relação entre o uso de inibidores de checkpoint imunológicos (ICIs) e o diagnóstico de ST. Objetivo: Esclarecer a relação entre ICIs e a ST, considerando ser um tema extremamente importante para os profissionais de saúde. Materiais e métodos: A busca na literatura se deu através da consulta na base de dados eletrônicos PubMed, a partir de “takotsubo syndrome” e “immune checkpoint inhibitor therapy”. Delimitaram-se artigos publicados entre os anos de 2003 e 2022, com estudos que respondam à questão norteadora previamente definida. Após aplicação dos critérios de inclusão e exclusão, obteve-se uma amostra final de 6 estudos para a revisão integrativa. Resultado e discussão: Os inibidores de checkpoint imunológico são cada vez mais utilizados para tratar certas doenças malignas devido à sua maior eficácia em comparação com a quimioterapia convencional. Os ICIs tornam-se tóxicos devido à remoção da autotolerância, que por sua vez induz processos autoimunes. Conclusão: Em resumo, esse estudo deixa claro que, com base na literatura disponível atualmente, pode-se concluir uma associação entre ICIs e ST, principalmente quando o ICI utilizado é o 5-fluorouracil.
