The research was conducted in Mount Rinjani National Park, Lombok Timur, to observe the daily activities of Long-tailed macaque in utilizing their habitat and vocalization analysis as a hallmark of species. The Long-tailed macaque’ activities were analyzed using the scan sampling method. Ten (10) individuals of Long-tailed macaque were observed. The results showed that the observed activities of Long-tailed macaque were feeding, sleeping, inactive, grooming, mating, moving, excretion, playing, making sound, and agonistic (fighting). The average percentage of Long-tailed macaque observed was feeding (10.1%), sleeping (9%), inactive (9.4%), grooming (14.9%), mating (8.5%), moving (11.1%), excretion (7.9%), playing (9.7%), making sound (9.5%), and agonistic (9.9%). The daily activities can be as a reference in detecting the ‘species’ of the Long-tailed macaque. To support the population of this species, especially for long-term survival, the manager of the Rinjani Nasional Park should preserve the forest with conservation of natural forests and wildlife or biodiversity conservation and ecotourism, also prevent littering and illegal activities.
Ketak (Lygodium circinatum (Burm.) Sw. is a fern plant and its growth requires other plants as a host plant for climbing of tendrils to get light. Information of vegetation association of host plant is needed, due to it is considered to have an influence on growth and productivity. This data and information is important to develop a strategy of ketak for cultivation and conservation. This research was aimed to determine vegetation association of ketak host plant in its habitat. The study applied purposive systematic sampling by survey technique based on altitude i.e. 0-249, 250-499 and 500-750 m asl. There are 10 of observation plot with dimension of 20 m x 20 m. In each plot, an analysis of vegetation association of ketak host plant to determine association between species, type of interaction and index of association between species of ketak host plant. The results showed that vegetation association of ketak host plants in each altitude classification which had a positive and strong association were 14 pairs species in altitude of 0-249 m asl, and 8 pairs species in altitude 250 – 499 m asl, and also in altitude 500 – 750 m asl had 15 pairs species. Altitude 500 - 750 m asl, shows the association of vegetation with the highest combination of species pairs.
Kata kunci: DM, cemas, hipnosis lima jari HYPNOSIS FIVE FINGER AGAINST ANXIETY DECREASE IN PATIENTS WITH DIABETUS MELLITUS ABSTRACT Diabetus mellitus is a disease that can be caused by hereditary factors or comes from a bad lifestyle where the disease is chronic usually marked by increasing glucose levels in the blood. This study aims to determine Hypnosis Five Finger against anxiety reduction in patients with diabetes who have anxiety in Tlogosari Wetan Public Health Center, Semarang. The design of this study is a quantitative study with quasy experimental design, the approach used is the pre test and post test equivalent control group. Respondents in this study were DM patients with anxiety less than 2 years in PROLANIS which was conducted every 1 month at the Tlogosari Wetan Public Health Center in Semarang, the number of samples 60 respondents were divided into 2 groups: 30 respondents in the five-finger hypnosis intervention group and 30 respondents in the control group. Statistical tests using paired sample T-Test. The results of statistical tests in the five-finger hypnosis intervention group showed that there was an effect of anxiety reduction in patients with diabetus mellitus in Puskesmas Tlogosari Wetan Semarang (p value = 0,000). Whereas in the control group, the result was p value 1,000> 0.05, which means that there was no effect of five-finger hypnosis on anxiety reduction in patients with diabetes mellitus because no five-finger hypnosis was given. Keywords: DM, anxiety, five finger hypnosis
