O objeto deste estudo é a Eneida, de Virgílio, obra apologética à grandeza de Roma. Desenvolvendo uma investigação acerca dos conceitos romanos de virtus e pietas na figura do herói Enéias e à luz da concepção grega de areté, buscamos entender a relação entre esses conceitos através de análises filológicas, literárias e culturais. No horizonte conclusivo do estudo, destacamos o que permanece e o que muda entre eles nos contextos históricos a que pertencem e como suas mudanças e permanências (re)configuraram a identidade de Roma, descendente direta do espírito cultural grego, tanto mítica, quanto historicamente.
Este artigo objetiva desvelar alguns dos muitos desafios formais e informais do ensino e do aprendizado no universo ciberespacial através das redes de interação que integram pessoas e coisas de um modo sem precedentes na história da experiência humana. Parte do pressuposto de que o ciberespaço é onipresente em muitas das realidades da vida humana contemporânea. À luz epistêmica de Pierre Lévy e de Jürgen Habermas desvelamos que a otimização dos laços interativos através de uma racionalidade comunicativa pode perfazer o potencial de inteligência coletiva que tipifica o atual espaço antropológico e seus muito colégios invisíveis. Além disso, no âmbito mais estrito à educação escolar, essa racionalidade é profícua à qualificação das formas de aprender e ensinar. O estudo aponta que o potencial comunicativo emergente com o advento da internet e a informação disponível como nunca antes a educadores(as) e educandos, permite que esses atores estabeleçam uma relação dialógica focada na interação crítico-reflexiva e não na mera transmissão de conteúdo, típica do mundo analógico anterior à cibercultura. Demonstra que esse processo abre possibilidades inéditas de compartilhamento de saberes e competências e de promoção de coletivos inteligentes.
<p class="Normal1">Este estudo assume como <em>objeto </em>o fenômeno da interação entre seres humanos e máquinas e seus sucedâneos a partir dos fundamentos da técnica, da ética e da estética. Contextualizamos nosso estudo no horizonte contemporâneo do ciberespaço, considerando que o advento das tecnologias digitais e o avanço sem precedente dos inventos tecnológicos estabelecem desafios ao diálogo entre técnica, ética e estética que, se não são inéditos na história, tem graves implicações ao desenrolar da experiência de desenvolvimento civilizatório promovida em esfera global. Revisando algumas fontes teóricas (especialmente na filosofia, nas ciências sociais e na literatura) que se dedicam – direta ou indiretamente – a essa problemática, concluímos nossa análise compreendendo que o progresso de qualquer civilização humana não se constrói apenas com o desenvolvimento da técnica e dos produtos tecnológicos que lhe são derivados: os tratos ético e estético são igualmente importantes para firmar práticas produtivas que não afetem às vidas que podem ser impactadas pelo <em>saber fazer </em>humano.</p>
Neste estudo, acolhemos as leituras freirianas sobre o fenômeno educacional transpondo-as metaforicamente ao setting terapêutico, por considerarmos que há certa similaridade entre esses espaços de formação do ser: formal ou informalmente, ambos são ambientes de ensino-aprendizagem. As reflexões que Paulo Freire desenvolve na obra Pedagogia do oprimido nos apontam prismas provocadores e pertinentes à experiência terapêutica que floresce entre psicólogos(as) e clientes e, conforme pretendemos evidenciar neste estudo, dialogam coerentemente com uma abordagem – em especial – na área da psicologia: a abordagem centrada na pessoa (ACP) de viés fenomenológico-existencialista. Diante disso, a problemática que guia este estudo assim se revela: como a obra Pedagogia do oprimido pode nos ajudar a pensar experiências terapêuticas num viés fenomenológico-existencialistas? As discussões desenvolvidas nos levam a uma compreensão mais apurada a respeito do horizonte de ação/atuação dos profissionais da educação e da psicologia nos seus ambientes terapêuticos. Dentre as muitas conclusões a que nos apontam a presente investigação, destacamos a importância da construção intersubjetiva de interações dialógicas vertidas à promoção emancipatória de si e do outro, cenário que, dentre outras coisas, pretere relações de opressão por considerar que todos os envolvidos em settings terapêuticos e em salas de aula têm algo a aprender com o outro.
