Objetivo: O objetivo desse estudo é analisar na literatura a condição de saúde e higiene bucal dos pacientes indígenas que moram no Brasil. Metodologia: Trata-se de uma metodologia de revisão integrativa realizada nos meses de fevereiro e março de 2020, através da aquisição de dados científicos das plataformas (SciELO), National Library of Medicine (PubMed) e Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (Lilacs). Os artigos selecionados foram publicados entre os anos de 2010 e 2020, nos idiomas de português e inglês. Para encontrar os artigos, foram usados os seguintes descritores: “Odontologia/Dentistry”; “Saúde Bucal/Oral Health” e “Saúde de populações indígenas/ Health Indigenous Service”, realizaram diversas buscas com os descritores de maneira individual e logo após foram feitos os cruzamentos com os descritores, utilizando navegador booleano o “AND”. Resultados: Para a construção dessa revisão integrativa, foram explorados oito artigos científicos que atenderam aos critérios de inclusão e exclusão anteriormente definidos. Conclusão: Portanto, é necessário um maior alcance de programas promocionais e preventivos em saúde bucal, para poder disseminar a prática da higienização e cuidado oral e incentivar a busca pelo o atendimento odontológico.
