A Escola Técnica do SUS/MA realiza a formação do Técnico em Saúde Bucal visando a transformação das práticas de saúde, tendo em vista a necessidade de profissionais para atuar no sistema e com o objetivo de ampliar e melhorar a assistência à saúde bucal prestada à comunidade. Este estudo teve como objetivo demonstrar as contribuições da formação do Técnico em Saúde Bucal para a assistência à Saúde Bucal no Estado do Maranhão. Trata-se de um relato da experiência vivenciada pela ETSUS/MA entre os anos de 2014 e 2017. O curso teve carga horária de 1320 horas, sendo destas 860 horas de atividades de concentração/dispersão, caracterizados como momentos de reflexão/teorização da prática profissional e 460 horas de estágio supervisionado em que o aluno aplicou os conhecimentos teóricos apreendidos em situações reais de trabalho, assistidos e orientados pelo preceptor. Durante o período em estudo, foram executadas 14 turmas em 13 municípios do Estado. Ao final de 2017, todas as turmas haviam concluído, com 328 profissionais formados. O índice de evasão foi de 13%. A relevância do curso nos municípios deu-se pela necessidade de profissionais capacitados para atuar junto ao Sistema Único de Saúde de forma consciente e participativa, como agentes de consolidação do SUS. Percebeu-se que não houve ampliação das equipes de saúde bucal no estado apesar da oferta de profissionais de nível técnico para os municípios. No entanto, o curso pode ter contribuído para o desenvolvimento de profissionais aptos a conhecer e intervir sobre os problemas e situações de saúde e doença do ser humano, segundo os princípios e diretrizes do SUS e a contribuir para a melhoria dos serviços ofertados à população.
Objetivo: Avaliar a qualidade das respostas das teleconsultorias realizadas pelo Núcleo de Telessaúde Estadual do Maranhão, demandadas pelos profissionais de saúde da Atenção Básica. Métodos: Estudo descritivo e analítico, com abordagem quantitativa da amostra (n = 653) teleconsultorias respondidas no período de janeiro de 2017 a dezembro de 2018. A qualidade das respostas foi aferida por auditoria. A resolubilidade da resposta e a satisfação do solicitante foram verificadas por meio de um questionário integrado à teleconsultoria. Resultados: Agentes comunitários de saúde e enfermeiros solicitaram 67,1% das teleconsultorias avaliadas. Dentre os temas consultados, o relativo a problemas gerais ou inespecíficos, foi o mais frequente. 88% dos solicitantes tiveram suas dúvidas totalmente esclarecidas; 98,2% declararam estarem satisfeitos ou muito satisfeitos. 85% das respostas foram classificadas entre boa, muito boa e excelente. Houve associação significante entre a qualidade da resposta e o grau de satisfação do solicitante (p=0,001). Conclusão: A qualidade das respostas das teleconsultorias e o grau de satisfação dos solicitantes apresentaram índices altos. As teleconsultorias avaliadas fornecem subsídios para que políticas públicas educacionais possam ser instituídas.
