This article analyzes the process of literacy and literacy of a student with hearing impairment, able to develop and use oral language for communicative functions, indicating the most appropriate literacy method (Martins and Spechela, 2012). This research is characterized as qualitative, being a case study (Godoy, 1995) that studies the schooling of a 9 -year -old student, with hearing loss, oralized, not a Brazilian sign language user. It has cochlear implant that enhances its hearing capacity. But despite the device, this student has difficulty listening and discriminating for certain sounds, skills needed for reading and writing learning (SILVA, 2019). The participants of this research were the mother of the child, the speech therapist and a psychopedagogue who works with it. The data collected and studied authors indicate that the speechavismoarticulatory method known as "little mouths" is the most effective for the student's literacy, as it is best suited to the specific needs of hearing and orality of the subject with coclear implant and or hearing loss, that does not characterize a deafness (SOARES, 2013).

The University is characterized as a space of human formation, being a reference institution in relation to the construction of knowledge, education, technological and social development. In this context, universities obey the inseparability between teaching research and extension; Thus we seek to present the extension project Popular University - UNIPOP that develops activities with the University of the State of Mato Grosso - UNEMAT, Sinop Campus that has consolidated itself as a space of confluence, debate, development, socialization and diffusion of diverse knowledge. The objective is to show the importance of university extension, through extension project actions, aimed at offering short courses in various areas of knowledge. The procedures adopted in this research were subsidized by qualitative methods, to obtain the data, we used an open questionnaire applied to the students who participated in the offered courses. The results point out the importance of extension actions developed by the university for the population in general, being relevant and significant for the construction of knowledge, as well as contributing to the knowledge of the academy to be socialized and the participating public of the taught mini-courses have one more space. that enables to build and consolidate varied knowledge.
This work investigates the effect of computer use in the memory process in young and adults under the Perceptual and Memory experimental conditions. The memory condition involved the phases acquisition of information and recovery, on time intervals (2 min, 24 hours and 1 week) on situations of pre and post-test (before and after the participants took part on a Basic Computing course), in which the participants studied the map of Brazil during 7 minutes and the estimates of different areas of Brazilian states were performed according to the magnitude estimation method, without the presence of the map. On the Perceptual condition, the estimates were made in the presence of the Brazilian map. The study made possible to verify that the use of a computer, as a new activity enables a differentiation on the memory process in relation to the different experimental conditions proposed and to the time intervals used between acquisition, processing and information recovery, showing that the use of a computer as a pedagogical tool may promote the improvement of the memory process in academic activities.
